You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

ItalyThe staff was not very cordial. As I said we were flying in with an overnight flight, landing in the city very early in the morning. Knowing this, first, I called the lodging in advance if it was possible to pay an extra fee for early check-in, but they could not accept it, so I ended up paying 2 nights only for using the room for 6-7 hours. But it was ok for us. After making the reservation, I called again to let the reception know in advance that we were arriving the morning of the day-before-first booked night, to avoid a no-show and prevent that our room was going to be given away. The person on the phone agreed and made sure to do the checkin for us before we arrived. However, the most unpleasant part was when we arrived in the early morning at the hotel. It seemed there was another lady at the reception that rudely told us that the checkin time was not available yet, that we were supposed to pay a fee etc etc. I tried 4 times to explain the situation that I did everything correctly, but she always interrupted me in a very condescending way before I could barely finish any sentence. I let her finish speak and finally when I asked "can I explain?", I could tell her that we were already supposed to have the room from the day before and that I called in advance to let them know. She was clearly still skeptical and did not believe me to a point that she checked the pc and said that there was not reservation under my name. Exasperated, I had to take out my phone and show her the confirmation of the booking to convince her to check better. And guess what? "oh I found it! you were right yes. You spoke with my boss yesterday and yes you have the room, that's correct". She changed her attitude and became all of sudden nice, but I had more than 15 minutes of exasperation with her. If she had let me explained from the very beginning, we would not have lost time.
We only stayed from 8:00am to 5:00pm for only one day even if we booked 2 night. This simply because we booked a red eye flight and we needed a place close to the airport to sleep some hours and recharge before driving to our next destination. It was very close to the airport and close to a plaza with good restaurants. The room was basic but good enough to rest. It looked clean

The location made it easy for on and off the highway. The beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. The price was decent and it was clean. Walking distance to foods and convenience stores. It's an older hotel but it's good for a night or two.

United States of AmericaThe bathroom smelled a little like cigarette smoke. And the hallways and elevators smelled a little like weed. They need to enforce the no smoking ban, especially weed. Otherwise, they will attract the wrong guests and repel the right, law-abiding guests and turn Red Roof Inn into a Motel 6.
