The room was quite humid and damp which felt much more noticeable with the laminate flooring.

The room was very spacious and we loved that there were laminate floors in the rooms (since it's a pet friendly hotel). Check-in and check-out were a breeze and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Our number one reason for choosing this hotel was that pets stay for free, which was quite the value when every other pet friendly hotel we were considering was going to charge $100+ just for the pet fee.

Could hear noises from the hallway easily (door materials not soundproof). Floors were all hardwood; no carpeting. Took a while to figure out the airconditioning (at first, had to lower temperature significantly in order to get cool air, but eventually it seemed possible to set at a comfortable temperature and still get cool air.

Good breakfast selections. Comfortable mattresses. Located just off the highway we were using, so easy to get to. Choice of firm or soft pillows.

Deluxe King Room Disability Access Roll-In Shower Smoke Free that was the Room I Booked, what I got was a King Room with a Tub with One grab bar about knee high, so to say the least I did not get a shower and had trouble with getting up from the toliet as I use bars to do so, I was told the next Morning when I checked out that the reason I didn't get the room I booked is because the people who had it had not checked out??????? Sorry but thats just an excuse plus the room they gave me was the last room on the top floor away from the elevator though I have some trouble walking that far. So No I was not happy with the service I got.

Kids were sad about no pool. Light floods in around the curtains making 2am feel like daybreak.

For the price, we were impressed! Comfy beds, hot breakfast options, space, friendly customer service. Would stay again!

This is our main stay when visiting daughter at U of A. Great prices and wonderful staff. Always super friendly. It's not the taj mahal but great value and excellent service.

The hotel had a musty odor throughout, the place felt dirty, and generally felt like it hadn't been well-maintained. It was strange how the parking lot was fenced off - we couldn't get directly to the road. There seemed to be construction around, and it looked like there was once more hotel that was demolished. We didn't have any problems, but it didn't feel as safe of an area as I would like.

The hotel was inexpensive on the dates we were visiting, and it was about 15 minutes away from the University of Alabama, so it wasn't too inconvenient.

The room could have been a little better with the cleaning. It looked like it was a quick wipe down and turn. But it was not horrible Could probably use a deep clean.. I did get a nail in my tire from the parking lot. It looks like they had construction on the backside of the parking lot. But that is no way the establishment's fault. And that's just knitpicking stuff.

The breakfast was a hugh plus. All the stuff was nice and welling to help. The beds were very comfortable and soft. It's hard to find that in a affordable hotel these days. We definitely will be staying at this hotel again.

I would never book at this hotel because of what some people say about it but I am so glad I took the chance and found out for my self The room was clean very spacious love the bath tube. Also love the breakfast and so did my family. This is my hotel for now on when I visit my sister. Also thank u to the lady's that check me in so very nice love this hotel. I actually booked it twice.

Another guest was smoking weed somewhere on our floor, but that wasn’t the hotel’s fault. The floors could have used a good moping in our room, and the shower curtain had mold on the bottom and needed to be switched out. Minor things.

Easy to get to, Overnight Staff at front desk was exceptional (I didn’t catch her name but she was just wonderful and a joy to talk to also), breakfast was really good and price couldn’t be beat especially since we were traveling with our lil cocker spaniel! Bed was clean and bathroom was also.
