Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyYou should know that the bathroom is separate but opens to the bedroom at the top. The sliding door does not close very tightly either. We have been together for 27 years and have no more secrets :) However, it could be a problem for people who prefer to be undisturbed in the bathroom ;)
The check in process was easy with the information you get beforehand. Kind of felt like calling the batphone :) The cabin was cute, clean and well equipped. The proximity to Bryce Canyon NP is perfect. We didn‘t see the owner during our whole stay, which is totally okay for us because we are very private people.

United States of AmericaThe cabin was roomy, very comfortable and clean. A small kitchen area with usual microwave/small refrigerator was nice and happy to have them supply dishes, utensils, pots, and soap/sponge for washing dishes. Very enjoyable three-day stay with outdoor swings which were fun!

United States of AmericaThe only negative is that we should have stayed longer.
The Villas are a cozy place to stay and are conveniently located to Grand Staircase Escalante, Kodachrome Basin State Park, and Bryce Canyon while at the same time away from busy centers of tourist activity. The noisiest sounds were the coyote senanades at night.

United States of AmericaCan't think of anything. There is a coffee shop in the next town up the road (Tropic) where you can get a latte and wide array of breakfast foods.
This small cottage was perfect for our purposes (riding in the Bryce Canyon area). The kitchen was nicely equipped, both with appliances and with utensils, and there was a basket of breakfast foods that were good. We were able to book this cottage last minute, when we realized that we didn't have a room for one night of our stay. It was conveniently located and just a nice spot. The stars were amazing!

United States of AmericaWe were there during a chilly time and had to use the wall heater more than expected, which made for a noisy night.
It was nice having our own cabin. Our host made an extra effort to provide decaf coffee. Clean and well maintained. Easy communication with host. Appreciated the extra blankets!

CanadaThe washroom has no heating and gets pretty cold if the door is left closed - but honestly not a big deal at all.
Fantastic private log cabins - equipped with everything one may need including pots and pans, utensils, a portable electric cooktop, cutleries and light breakfast like oatmeal packs. Very kind and welcoming staff tended to all your requests. Every cabin has a small patio and a bbq grill although we didn't get to use it. Beautiful Bryce-like landscape all around. Big communal yard with swings, hammocks, picnic tables and a variety of sports items like soccer, football etc.

United States of AmericaIt was a little difficult to find in the dark but not enough to deter us from coming again. It was the only downside and on a scale of 1-10 I would rate this issue as a 9 anyway.
It was very cozy, homey, comfortable, warm and clean. It was in close proximity to several National Parks and vista points for quick day trips.

Great little cabins, quieter and more private than a motel. The place was clean as could be, bed was very comfortable. Location is great for both Kodachrome and Bryce Canyon. Highly recommended, will be staying here anytime I'm in the area going forward.

United States of AmericaActually nothing.
Located in a small neighborhood off the beaten path, but still close enough to town, this is a very nice, but rustic facility with about 6 detached cabins. Each has a kitchenette, a porch, has plenty of space, and is very quiet.

United States of AmericaThe heating unit wasn’t working. We were trying to press the buttons on the machine but the mode wouldn’t change. It got very cold overnight. We realized at the end of our stay that the remote for the AC/heater was in a drawer. It think it would be helpful to know that on the welcome sheet you had. But overall this was an excellent experience. Thank you!

What a perfect place to stay while visiting Bryce National Park! Everything about our cabin exceeded all of our expectations. It was quiet, clean and in a perfect location. The owners were friendly and available. We have been visiting Bryce for over 15 years staying at various local hotels, and Bryce Canyon Villas is now our favorite place to stay. Thank-you for adding to our Bryce experience.
