What can I say about a business that didn’t proofread the huge sign out front before it was made and installed? It says, “Regency Inn and Suite”. What, only one suite? A little comic relief?

The pool has been filled in with concrete so that needs to be removed. The sofa was very stained and the tiles where coming up off of the floor. No stopper for the bathtub. Needs work.

The location was what was needed.

Great water pressure and hot water availability. Location is great with large parking lot for bigger vehicles. Restaurants and stores within walking distance.

My kids found empty gum packages in the Bible. We arrived after 10pm and they were all doing construction on rooms close to ours. I pre-requested a roll away bed in the room and it was not there. It was so late that my daughter just decided to sleep in the chair.

The room was mostly clean.

The internet WIFI, limited TV channels

The space we stayed in overnight was a suite above the office. When we first arrived thr o THE AC cooled the room after a few hours. The internet was extremely difficult to connect to but it did finally work.

We didn't eat breakfast. The door doesn't fit the frame. They are wasting energy. The desk chair was in poor shape. There was bare concrete in spots on the floor.

There is no pool as advertised. The room was 90° when we arrived after a 10 hour drive. There was no remote. Not enough pillows. No elevator. Only one room key, no do not disturb sign. Not all huge issues, the pool was the biggest let down of all tho. It is advertised to have a pool, that should warrant a discount or at least a partial refund.

The price. Our room was also pretty decent. Staff was quick to respond to our issues.

Phone filthy, stuff smeared on bathroom door and walls, shower curtain did not look clean. Sheets didn't look to be changed in one room. Pulled the spread back; sheets wrinkled. Had 2 adults in 1 room, 3 adults in other. Didn't offer or want to give set of towels when asked. I used 1 towel to spray, disinfect and wipe down surfaces.

The pool has had algae in it for almost a year. no covered area for people to smoke or gather. the trash and old toilets are sitting at the back of the property.

I've always been able to get a room when staying in town. The staff has been polite and curtious. the rooms have always been well maintained.

Other than location & the size of the room, everything else was far below minimal expectations. Room reeked of cigarette smoke (went to my Thanksgiving function smelling like an ashtray b/c there was no way of getting the smell out of my clothes). The room was filthy, there were cigarette burns in the bedding, curtains were torn & had holes in them, dead baby roaches in the floor, dirty sink, remote control to TV was held together by some nasty tape that was curling up on the sides (no telling how many strangers’ germs I’ve interfaced with while in this petri dish), and there were holes in the wall, door & ceiling.

This property was the closest place available to a relative that I was visiting in Gilmer, TX (approx 15-20 min away). It was also listed as Pet Friendly (extra charges may apply…as to be expected).

Floors were missing some floor tile and really dusty.

Room was good enough for my family of 4. And staff was helpful and friendly.

See above: Location was okay. There was no breakfast, coffee, other services. During this pandemic, you would think that the rooms would be spotless and at least 'smell' clean. After showering & dressed, I walked around barefooted, sat at the desk and packed. As I was putting on my socks, the bottom of my feet were filthy! I washed & dried my feet again and soiled the towel with dirt from my feet. I was going to take the soiled towel to management so they could see how dirty the floor made my feet, but no one was at the 'window' and the office was locked. Unless there is special compensation, I highly doubt I will return and not recommend this motel to my friends or business associates. Godspeed!

Next door to parents, price, availability.

Either drain the pool,or fill it in an make a smoker's covered area, get rid of the old appliances not in use, spend some tim e cleaning up around dumpster area that conscious people throw away cigarette butts because no out door wash trays are available.
