Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The breakfast in the morning wasn’t much. The coffee wasn’t good.
The bed was comfortable. Room was big. I was travelling with my cat. The room had hard floors - wasn’t worried about carpet.

It is a rundown motel in a very humid area, with its associated issues.
It provided low cost lodging in our area of interest. It had problems, but they were OK for just one night.

Room needs to be aired out after cleaning so residual smell doesn’t remain yay check in
Manager was very helpful, gave us same discount for 2 days even though was booked under 2 reservations so we didn’t have to change rooms.

Location was questionable about safety of vehicle and possible break in. Not real clean and staff not very cordial.
It was comfortable, but not the cleanest. Location was not as safe as would like. They even have a clause not responsible for theft of any type. Dead bugs on floor, and not as clean as could be.

No complaints. Ample parking. Some noise from the truck stop next door but nothing overly disruptive. Internet & TV worked fine. Lot's of mosquitoes in this area but that's no fault of the hotel.
The lady at reception was super nice. Located RIGHT off the interstate so very convenient, but I had no trouble with noise. Check-out is late (11 am) which is nice. Next to the lake, a truck stop, and an area to walk dogs. Lots of mosquitos from the lake and rice fields but they have a sign up about this as a warning to keep doors and windows closed which as a non-local I appreciated. No complaints.

The in-room coffee maker included coffee for two but only 1 little creamer packet. No big deal but there is no other coffee available on site (no breakfast, etc.)
I was very pleasantly surprised upon entering my room- it was spotless, appeared to be recently renovated, and far more upscale than expected! For the price, it’s a wonderful bargain.

Room was cleanish. But not my standard of clean. Bathroom sink wasn't clean. Bathroom door was filthy. Mirror above sink was not clean.

Whole lobby was closed due to COVID-19. Site stated they had breakfast. Update your site! If you stopped serving breakfast almost two years ago now, that probably needs to be updated. Provide some truth in advertising. No shampoo, no conditioner.
The room was nicely appointed. The bathroom was updated nicely. Bed was comfortable. Internet worked well.

The bathroom door stuck a bit, but other than that our stay was great!
Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. They gladly accommodated our dog, who travels with us. We had a pleasant night’s stay! the beds were nice and firm, the linens clean, and the property was convenient to the highway. The hot water was plentiful, and it was convenient to gas and food. Our room even had a small view of the lake through the trees, which was a bonus we weren’t expecting!

A little removed from the ‘convenience’ of some things- 3 fast food Restraunt’s within walking distance as well as 2 gas stations!
The management was 100-% top notch! So polite and helpful in every way! Bed was super comfy water was good and hot! Fridge/freezer and microwave to make staying multiple nights easier!! Also has a great coin laundry faculty in house!! Very good for the money!

You get what you pay for. Each queen bed had only 2 pillows each. The water from the sink tasted weird. The beds were very stiff. The linens had burn holes in them. The location is a little sketchy, but it’s right off the highway.
It was cheap and the AC in the room was fantastic. The front desk staff was very pleasant to deal with.

The floors. You have to wear shoes at all times otherwise your feet will be black.
