The water is not drinkable - they provide water in a 5 gallon container for your use. If you want cold water plan ahead and bring some water bottles. This isn't necessarily a negative, just something to be aware of.

Very comfortable bed and amazing rainforest views! Room has a microwave and mini fridge.

My wife and I were travelling from Canada and did not have a phopne with us. We checked our e-mail day before arriving and had a 'code' for the door lock. Code did not work uppon arrival. Luckly the cleaning staff were on site and were able to call the property owner for us, she told them to have us call her.... again we did not have a key. We were eventually able to get the code form the cleaner but if they were not there we would be at a loss. Why was the code e-mailed the day before not the correct one. SHAME

Location was good, lot of parking but when other inconsiderete guests poark in a method that takes up more than one space your screwed.... not an error on the side of the proporty but seriously. Hot tub was nice, but needed a cleaning Room was good, clean, comfortable

Wish their had been air conditioning, but it wasn't too terrible with the window open.

The corner window to the view of the rainforest was great! The room itself felt very secluded and private. The location was very ideal for getting to the volcano national park.

The first day we could not use the hot tub because it was not working properly, however the host fixed it quickly when we told him.

The bed was really confortable and the views you can see through the giant windows are amazing. It is located in the middle of the jungle.

    False advertising! Hot tub broken

Manager was not helpful when we had an issue getting hot tub to come on. We tried EVERYTHING, even texted her a video of the blank worn buttons not responding. It was cold, dirty, old & had No power at all. Her response was “its always on..” “the cleaner might still be there if you want to ask her” there was no one on the property. Our problem was we stayed here FOR the hot tub as it was a romantic anniversary weekend for us. And we got no assistance in resolving this issue. So yes, Im Highy disappointed. Grounds had multiple busted solar path lights. These are necessary to see the path to get to the unit. Room needs some updating. Theres no bath mat so you have to use one of your two towels provided to stand on when exiting shower. Certain things need updating. Like small holes in walls and mold on ceiling. Corner Windows need sealed better. Condensation on windows was awful in the am, with the tiny dehumidifier they provided on. (Provide a squeegee) Hot tub and cover need replaced if their going to “Advertise” hot tub accessibility. My husband and I think its not worth the $180 a night. I wouldn’t pay more than $100. We have been in the property management business on this island for a long time. Even been super hosts on Air bnb. So we have first hand experience.

Ferns on grounds were beautiful. Love the jungle feel! Appreciated that they provided coffee and water and an early check in. Room was clean.

The bathroom fan didn't work which added to the humidity and the dehumidifier provided was very inefficient. This all meant that towels were constantly damp and the whole room was clammy. Crockery and cutlery were minimal.

None. We had a wonderful time. Thank you.

The property owner is reasonable and attentive. Room has internet and is 2 minutes from to Volcano Village which has a gas station, restaurant, hardware store and laundromat. I had a few small bumps but; owner responds to text quickly and was able to assist and resolve the issues quickly. Property is 1 mile from Volcano National Park and about 40 minutes from Hilo. Centrally located near Black Sand Beach and Southernmost Point. Drive from Kona Airport was scenic and roads are well kept and easy to drive on. Property was well kept and clean. I would definitely stay at this property again or any property owned by this lady.

Only thing was some of the ferns could be cut back in the pathway. Otherwise, everything was wonderful! Instructions clear and environment was peaceful. Hot tub was an amazing plus.

Location was absolutely perfect for traveling to the volcano. Easy and clear instructions from the host. The no contact check in was wonderful as we were super tired from the trip. Loved the garden oasis, parking was easy, and very close to the main road.

The wifi for our room dropped every few minutes. Which is fine for devices like a phone. But unable to watch TV/movies due to buffering for minutes at a time and then dropping the stream/buffer. The hot tub was broken on the highest temp and unable to go down. 105 is not pleasant and we were unable to use it at all. The control panel is broken. The buttons are worn off so I was blindly hitting anything and getting nowhere. Getting an error when trying to adjust temp and unable to lower it. There is a bed and two chairs. Two pillows in total. I appreciate the quaintness of the place. It's gorgeous. Truly a paradise. Just wasn't able to relax in the paradise. Sq ft on the listing was slightly misleading but the lack of a couch, sofa, love seat, recliner left me wanting to sit. Unfortunately the hot tub was unhealthily hot.
