The bathroom set up in the rooms is bizarre. There is zero privacy with lack of a full walls.

Some staff was a little rude, has some issues with a woman at the front, we wanted water bottles and she gave us a hard time for it.

I like that the property was by subways stops and the way it looked, the room was really nice and we had a good time.

My only complaint would be no mini fridge or microwave. It’s very inconvenient when you’re out of town to go to a restaurant, have leftovers and cannot eat them later on. Also unable to have any cold bottled water in room.

The property was in a great location, of stores and restaurants in walking distance, modern room, and restaurant with live music some nights was very nice.

I drove to NY bit parking was not available. Even at 4pm all garages in the area were full.

We didn't feel like we were in th a middle of Harlem and the fast pace.

Spacious room but not enough drawers, shelves, or closets to put your stuff. No service for new towels if needed. Bed was made up one of the days. The other day we were in the room when she knocked, and she never came back.

We loved the history of the Harlem Renaissance. The hotel was gorgeous. Bed was very comfy. Room had a great view. Bar and restaurant were really lovely.

The hotel was conveniently near transportation and close to my job. I love the buzz at the bar lounge and live entertainment. Staff was awesome.

I would’ve appreciated a small refrigerator for medications; asked for it at check in; received it the next day. I was on the 18th floor, which minimized street noise, and posed no problem for me. I suspect it could be problematic for lower floors.

The staff members were professional, responsive and friendly. Room was comfortable and I had a nice view. It was an excellent value. Had breakfast twice (using the free vouchers); food was quite good.

#1. Don’t promise benefits you don’t have. We DID NOT RECEIVE THE FOLLOWING promised bonus: - Uptown Hop Off / Hop On – NYC Top View Tours for 2 people (one time during stay) - Museum of the City of New York + Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum tickets for 2 people (one time during stay). We asked about it twice and we’re told they were negotiating for these benefits but didn’t have them yet. #2. Cleaners did not put towels and coffee in the room everyday. They removed all used towels but didn’t replace them or the coffee service so everyday we had to call and have them delivered. #3. Restaurant/ Bar needs to communicate its hours of service. Put it in the advertised information and inform the Front desk. The front desk thought it was open till midnight but most often it closed by 11:30PM.

This is a new well located hotel with a nice lobby and dining/bar area. There are restaurants, Whole Foods and the subway within a five minute walk. The rooms are spacious rooms with nice bathrooms, comfortable beds and linens.

The walls are thin! My neighbors were so loud on my last night that I didn’t get any sleep before catching my flight. Mad was an understatement.

I loved that the property is dedicated to the Harlem Renaissance. I’m a social person when I travel so I love that the locals patronize the restaurant and have a good time.

Bathroom area, door doesn't close completely due to design. Ok for me being alone but not sure if I would want if there were 2 people. It is beautiful though.

Not always easy as a resident to get a table for dinner. Limited choice at breakfast for international travellers.

The design of the rooms is puzzling. There is no closet, just a rack in the area where the coffee maker and sink are. The bathroom design gives you a room with tub and toilet and a weak sliding door situation for a minimal amount of privacy. From there you go into the area where the sink, clothes rack and coffee maker are. This area looks out into the room and there is only a curtain to draw for privacy. There is no refrigerator or microwave.

The location of the hotel is great; a short ride away from LGA and close to public transportation. Breakfast was excellent. The views from the room were great and it’s so nice to have an upscale hotel in Harlem.
