There was no elevator and we stayed on the 4th floor. Walking up and down 4 flights of stairs wasn’t the easiest/best thing at times. The window view was a brick wall and a couple of ac units. The shower just has a glass wall and doesn’t actually close or have a curtain. It is a big shower but that opening lets the shower get cold and the water pressure could be better. The door is a little thin/hollow so it may give you some uncomfortability. All the furniture in the room is lightweight and moves easily.

The interior was nice, the room had a deck and the tv was mounted with plenty of plug space. They also provided snacks and drinks for a price listed in the room. Entry is granted with a code so no need to worry about losing a room key. There’s no front desk but the manager is very friendly and communicative. Check in was flexible and easy. There is a 24 hour service number you can use if you need anything.

The checkin procedure. The large cleaning fee and taxes. No concern about the total price. But the fees roughly doubled the advertised price. So I got stickers hock at the booking. And the checkin procedure is intimidating. I understand that the property wants remote management. But collecting biometrics for “security”? Wow, that’s intrusive.

I wasn't able to do the number 2 in the restroom due to poor pressure in the toilet. I had to walk to the Union station to use the restroom to do the number two meaning poop. 7 days I couldn't use the restroom in my room. Due to I had to work from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 Monday through Thursday and I didn't want anyone in my room with all my private stuff there couldn't get the room fixed. I believe they knew the toilet was already messed up

I did not like the self check in process, parking was an absolute nightmare and the noise was not pleasant (but there is night club downstairs so it was understandable).

I do not like the stairs but this was my second stay so I was prepared this time to get my cardio in. The knob on the front door slid off upon check in so I had to be very careful every time I used the door but the property blamed me and is now looking for me to pay for something that was already broken. In addition to this, I found a hair that was not mine in the bed, the shower knob did not work properly and scalding hot water was pouring out on the right side of the shower but the shower was roomy so I worked around it and still didn’t complain, and the shower curtain was ripped. I should’ve notified the person in the phone but I figured, you get what you pay for right! Now I wish I had because if I’m charged $300 for something I did not do I will take this property to court. Very tempted to cancel all future bookings here if this is the case as I was planning on booking all future stays here.

I like the location, it was convenient to get to food and attractions.

The price displayed on Booking.com is not anywhere near the final price. The room appeared significantly cheaper than other local options until checkout, when around $100 of additional fees were added. A further $200 deposit was requested closer to check-in. Given the noisy location, I might have opted for a more conventional hotel had all costs been presented up front. Also note that online check-in is a bit tricky even for tech-savvy people. The website used for identity checking does not play well with every browser (I had a bit of trouble in Firefox) and did not clearly confirm when all check-in tasks were complete.

The hotel is in a very convenient location easily walkable from Union Station and right on 16th St Mall. The host was highly communicative and gave thorough instructions. The room itself was BEAUTIFUL - we loved the fancy shower, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Coffee pods and a small fridge are available if needed. The facility feels extremely secure with digital code locks on the front door as well as guest doors.

No smoking allowed on balcony and having to walk downstairs while the club was busy just to smoke. No elevator. Luckily the club staff was there when I checked in and helped me carry my bags up.

The location was perfect for what I needed to do and the room was very big for the price! Just wish smoking was allowed on the balcony.

We only had a little hiccup during the check-in process, since apparently the code for entering the hotel and the room wasn’t set up or was disabled. However I called their number and they provided assistance really quick, and it was a very late check in. So, I really appreciated their help.

The closeness to the city was wonderful. It was near every spot. Loved to have a balcony and the bed was very confortable. Loved my stay.

We didn't stay while the nightclub that is below it was open (stayed during weeknight). So we had no issue with noise from the club or anything causing lack of sleep. We slept quite comfortably. However, if you are going to stay while the nightclub is open, I would just be aware of that, because it would likely be a factor.

Easy contactless check in, which was very convenient and much preferred. The staff that communicated with you via messaging or phone was very friendly and eager to help. It was a cute little studio and really has everything you need. I would definitely stay again.

I didn’t know the building had no elevator, and as an almost 8-month pregnant, going up to the 3rd floor was a bit challenging, considering that we went out a lot. I didn’t like the pillows, they seemed old and very uncomfortable. Maybe it’s about time to get new ones :) and probably add an extra comforter (the one we had was comfy and soft, but very thin and short for two people)

I liked the location (very accessible) and how easy was the check-in process. The room was pretty, modern, and super clean, and everything smelled so good. We loved we had a coffee machine and bathrobes. The communication with the host was fast and efficient. I'll be happy to stay there again in the future.

The only thing I can think of that was a little annoying was running up and down the stairs but we are both in good shape so it wasn’t too much of a hassle though, I can see how other people may become very irritated by the lack of an elevator.

Shower was huge and just awesome. The TV was an upper quality LG which included Netflix Hulu and other streaming services. Bed was comfortable and we didn’t have any problems with the noise. Great location and no children allowed was a good bonus as well!

I was not aware that there was no elevator. I had to lug over 75lbs of luggage up three flights of steps. Could not get TV to work. In all fairness, I am not a techy person which made my experience stressful from the beginning. I check out within hours. Otherwise, the room was nice.

Staying on the second floor was really rough. The night club below the hotel was very loud and it was impossible to sleep. Luckily they were only open one of the nights that I stayed there. If I ever stayed here again I would require a room on a different floor.
