To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaHouse keeping never came during our stay. We wanted to enjoy the pool, however there was a group there with several kids that were running, flipping into the pool, pushing, diving (all of which were against pool rules). The lifeguard just let it happen. Every few minutes they'd go to the door and let more people in who didn't have a key card to access the pool it was obvious that most of them weren't hotel guests, so it's a bit frustrating that they were allowed to enjoy the pool without paying for the amenity and that was taken from us.
Great location with lots of resturants and a grocery store within walking distance. Parking is $25 a night, but if you chose not to drive the metro is close by. The hotel was clean and spacious and we appreciated the full sized fridge. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good.

France3 main negative point. We booked for 3 people. When we arrived, only the main bed was done. We went down to the reception and the girl said: you have everything in a bag do it yourself… Of course we open the bag and it was missing half of the things. A woman came in give me in front of the door the missing things and that s all… I would expect that the people do something to recover. Second point was the cleaning. We booked 4 nights. A woman came the 2 days. Our daughter asked if she can come later and nobody came anymore… We have to come back to the reception the 3 days to ask something happening and the woman was not in favor to do it. We had to negotiate for something happening. Third point were the breakfasts not at the same level every days… we globally expected a better service regarding the price.
The Very very positive point is David who serve you during the breakfast. He is so nice and pleasant. The second point was the size of the studio that is quite enough

And the requirement to ring the doorbell when you first check in is slightly off-putting, mostly becuase the signage isn't as obvious as it could be (considering newly arriving guests are distracted with checking their belongings, towing bags, etc.)
Breakfast is nice and has the most friendly staff of all! The hot food items seem to rotate daily.
