The hallways are a little confusing!

The blonde at the front (didn’t catch her name) was really nice! She was also very helpful and stayed on top of the towels in the pool area even when there was about 40 kids in there!

The room was very spacious and clean. The hotel was very cute definitely a place to go if you want peace and quiet.The staff was super friendly and the only bad thing was that they tried to charge me for something i never purchased but took care of it right away.

We were disappointed their pool was closed, but my partner does hotel maintenance and we realize how hard it is to get a pool person to work on them. i was pretty disappointed with the breakfast choices and lack of condiments and help. Examples - they only had greek yogurt and no regular. There was no syrup in sight, but a waffle maker. I had to ask for salt and pepper for my eggs. The young man who retrieved them for me acted like I was bothering him, so I chose to not ask for anything else. No choices for milk (lactose free or almond, etc...) I was hoping for biscuits and gravy, but that was not an option. It was all sugar cereal, eggs, sausage, some kind of sausage biscuit and egg muffin. There was bread for toast, but again no condiments such as peanut butter or jelly. Oh, they also had blueberry muffins, pre-packaged. I ended up with eggs and a blueberry muffin the first morning. The second morning we went to the nearest Perkins, which was fantastic. The walkways could've been tended to a little more. As a smoker, I went to my vehicle to smoke and it was quite slippery on the sidewalks.

Front desk staff was friendly and informative. Room was comfy and the kitchenette was fantastic - it even had utensils, bowls, plates, can opener, etc... It also had a dishwasher, which was a nice touch. We eat out when traveling, but often overnight we like to cook or snack and this was perfect for us. It also had a separate sitting area with another tv and couch. Loved that as my partner and I often have different sleeping habits. I also liked how the sink wasn't inside the actual bathroom. I could get ready while he showered without all the humidity.

The toilet drain in our bathroom was slow draining and that is why it overflowed. Then my wife was told to use the bathroom by the swimming pool and that one was not working either. When we called for help there was no maintenance person available. When we asked for another room, we were accommodated.

The breakfast was very good. The menu accommodated even gluten free diets. We enjoyed the hot breakfast option. I would like to see fresh brewed We decaf coffee offered though.

I expected the bed to be comfortable and it was not. I try to go out of my way to stay at Marriott properties since I’ve had very good luck in the past with the beds. the bed was pretty hard

The smoking rooms smelled strong in the hallways. The carpet is outdated in the rooms and it would feel more clean if that was replaced with a vinyl. The shower liner appeared to be dirty or moldy. It was gross. There were bugs on the floor in the bathroom - not something I am used to seeing. The hideaway bed appears to have been well used and needs to be replaced. Our teenagers used the second bedroom and said it was not the most comfortable bed they've slept in but worked fine for 1 night and they napped in the car to make up for the lack of sleep. Breakfast was very basic continental. The only drink options were coffee or milk, which 3 out of us 5 don't drink. Juice machine was broken, pool was "under construction" and prepackaged burritos and sandwiches were still cold. We stayed at another brand of hotel in another city with similar amenities and same price and I would spend the time and money driving back to the other hotel after comparing the two.

The 2 bedroom ensuite was a nice feature and made it very comfortable for our family of 5 to spread out after being in a car together all day. The location was great to easily pull off the highway and get back on. The pool was under construction so we did not get to utilize that. The shower pressure was great. The king master bed was comfortable. The kitchen would have been nice for a longer stay.

The couch was noticeably dirty as in white stains all over the arm rests the top or it was extremely dusty and the decorative pillow was saturated in some kind of long white animal hair as well as the couch that was really gross to me my son was using the sofa bed and was digested by it. Also I put a water bottle in the fridge and the fridge wasn’t the cleanest as well it had leftover shredded cheese in one of the trays. The lobby area looks great in pictures a lot of the chairs need to be redone they were pretty beat up as well as the elevator it looks terrible inside. This place needs a little work out into it.

To find anything bad is a far reach but if I were to make any recommendations to make it even more stellar, I would say maybe some shredded cheese near the salsa to add to the scrambled eggs. Also, our coffee pot was a little dirty in the room but no biggy because there’s a dishwasher. So we washed it. No big deal at all.

Absolutely everything! I would recommend this location to anyone. To start, it is so warm and inviting. Everything was BEAUTIFULLY decorated for the holidays! The tree was stunning, the pictures on the walls had been gift wrapped, they had candy and cookies out, they even had a hot cocoa stand with marshmallows and sprinkles! We are cocoa-crazy and it felt like home! The smell of coffee even radiated through the hotel and smelled like my own home. Then, I’m admittedly an obsessive cleaner and even travel with my own cleaning supplies to clean rooms when I get there. This room was IMMACULATE. Not a spec of dust or dirt was found as I went over it. We have terrible allergies to dust and have trouble in hotels but the air quality was fantastic. The room was large and comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with all dishes and utensils we needed to cook. The bed was soft and we slept great. Also, even though we were near the elevator and the laundry room, it was so quiet! T The details are spectacular. Our room even had “snowman soup” put on the table. (Hot cocoa with marshmallows) and popcorn! To top it off every single employee we encountered was friendly like a long time friend. The breakfast was so good too. Coffee, cocoa, eggs, sausage, bacon, quiche, many kinds of cereal, chocolate or white milk, 4 kinds of juice, fruits, oatmeal’s, salsa and sauces for the eggs, and my favorite—like 8 or 10 different toppings for oatmeal! How have I never thought of an oatmeal topping bar?! I have told all my friends about that and we’ve all decided that’s our newest “thing”. 😂😂 100% 5 star experience. I will recommend them to everyone and we will absolutely be back!

This place was very dirty! I mean dirty. We decided to go up to the room and guess what? I don't think they have vacuumed the floors for along time. I went in to take a shower and we had one towel and no shower curtain. I went down stairs to ask for a shower curtain and the lady at the front desk said she didn't have one to give me. She had to take it for another room cause it the hotel was full. She couldnt even give me an extra towel because they didn't have any cleaned. She told me all the cleaning staff left at noon and never returned to work. So I asked her for my money back so we could stay somewhere else and she said no she couldn't do that. I asked for the number so i could talk to someone above her and she refused to give me a number.I told her I was going to get my husband so I could show her that we already paid for the room and how much and who we went through to book it. By the time I and my husband returned back to the front desk. She said she was on the phone talking to a lady by the name of Angie and she said they would refund me back 130.00 of my payment and someone give me a shower curtain from an abandoned room. Well then the front lady asked me to install the shower curtain and I said I shouldn't have to do that. There were 2 young men standing in the hallway and one offered to put it in for us. So all three of us went back up to the room and I asked him if he worked here he said no. Wow! We talked a little bit about what we were going through and the price I paid for the room and he said that I was way over the usual price that he has ever been charged to stay there. Still to this day I have never received any part of my refund. Very sad business and very sad employees. I really think the place needs torn down or totally gone through and cleaned. Spend some money on shower curtains and towels. Hire new front desk personnel that don't lie.
