We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of Americawe booked here months ago for an event with friends. the day before our arrival, we received an email saying the hotel was full and they booked us a room at another hotel close by. I called to say that I’d appreciate it if they moved someone else from this location, since we were staying with friends. The gal I spoke to was a bit impatient with me (“ya,ya,ya, my boss made this decision…I’ll talk to her and call you back.” ) I didn’t get a call back but when I called again, I learned that they had kept my reservation at this hotel and they had moved someone else. I’m glad they rectified the situation but the the gal I talked to could have had better customer service skills.

United States of AmericaOur room was not very clean. You could tell that the previous occupant had a dog because the bathroom floor (and other floors) had a lot of black dog hair. The bathroom counter had make-up on it. The top of the toilet tank was dirty, etc. the “clean” towels had long dark hairs on them.
The room set-up was nice with two separate bedrooms (each with its own bathroom), a small kitchen and a living room area. The breakfast provided had different options both days we were there.

United States of AmericaLess than twelve hours before check in time I received an apologetic email that due to a "communication error between our system and sales, we have been overbooked and do not have a room available to check you into.". Instead they checked me into a Doubletree, at their cost, which is unfinished, hideous, and currently has no internet whatsoever. Now it's too late to find someplace decent instead.

United States of AmericaMy phone was dropped in the parking lot and was turned in by another Resident staying at the motel. Someone had went to the front desk and described my phone and what it look like in the lady behind the desk gave this guy my phone knowing that it was not me. She never checked his ID or got in touch with me to authorize giving him my phone. This was a $1,400 phone.
I like that the rooms are nice and and big I'm very clean.

United States of Americastaff does not answer the phone or return emails. Tried to call multiple times before our trip, no answer. As we were checking in, the phone was ringing and the clerk never answered it. The room smelled like heavy Chinese food and the bathroom had been smoked in. I also think that being charged $12.00 a day to park in the open, not a garage, lot is absurd!
