Floors not clean. Corners of bathroom not clean. Fireplace grate/surround not clean.

Breakfast was better than anticipated. Cleanliness/maintenance could be improved. Fireplace didn't work in 1st room and the grate/surround very dirty. Floors filthy with fine dust. Noticed when walking in bathroom and shoes left footprints. Coughed and stuffy nose while there. Staff very nice and helpful. Location very convenient to highway, restaurants, etc.

The room configuration was not what I expected and the ‘queen’ bed seemed more like a full. There were stains on the pull out couch bed and linens. So cleanliness was really lacking.

It is a bit of a drive to anywhere and off of a very busy highway, so not exactly convenient.

We stopped for one night to break up a trip and it worked out well. It is a bit remote and not what I was expecting, but in the end we made do. The breakfast was nice.

Breakfast was good, nice variety of choices. The only downside was the spoiled milk. I had to throw away my cereal and my daughter had to throw away her cofffee.

Staff was great 👍 Loved the fire pit on the patio and the fireplace in our room. Everything was very clean.

Workout room had machines that needed work and the cleaning products at the gym were dried out.

I stayed in the king studio which was big and bed very comfortable. Full size kitchen and full size stove/oven and fridge.

Moldy shower curtain, heat in room wouldn’t go above 67 degrees, no fireplace in the room as pictured online, potatoes were hard at breakfast and no fruit options besides an apple

We booked this room to get a good nights sleep before driving 16 hours. The room was freezing. We had to pile up pillows to block the draft from the outside wall. At 6:30 am we were shockingly awoken by loud fire alarms. The kitchen grrrr 😖 So we didn’t get much sleep at all. 😩 We tried to rest unsuccessfully. By the time we gave up on the hopes of sleep, we showered and packed up, and then we were too late for the free breakfast included with the ridiculous price we paid to stay in West Springfield. They even charged us to park our car. I lived in that City for three years previously and there’s nothing special about it. There is a huge parking lot which was 3/4 empty and probably never full. So disappointed as it was a “Marriott”. We had a terrible time staying awake for our very long drive. I ended up getting very sick. 🥹 We would like a refund or a free night voucher. The room reeked of smoke and was t clean - when I complained the manager came and said she couldn’t smell anything - but offered odor eliminators??? Horrible customer service bc one of us has asthma and coughed all night!!!

Elevator down for 1/2 of stay, pool under maintenance and still not open when we left, breakfast was mediocre at best. Eggs and sausage weren't even warm, very limited choices. Decor very plain. Outside grounds in serious need of attention, very overgrown and unkept. We are loyal Residents Inn patrons and always choose to stay at Residents Inn when we travel. We have been staying at the Residents Inn in Watertown every March since 2017, as we plan an extended weekend getaway every year. We have stayed at West Springfield, Chicopee, Branchburg, NJ and Watertown. And this stay in West Springfield was definitely not up to the standards of the other locations. When we book again next year we will be looking into other hotels in the area for our stay.
