We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The breakfast great, location very good, also quiet. Wonderful early check-in by Nelly. She was so helpful and efficient. Nice kitchen suite. This was our second stay at a Residence in. The first was in Portland. Oregon. It was absolutely wonderful. I was so happy and impressed. They had such a great breakfast and good options for the gluten free consumer . We joined Marriott Bonvoy and look forward to future stays.

United States of AmericaThe room was real hot and humid when we entered. They had a febreeze plug in behind the fridge that trigger my respiratory. So I called maintenance regarding the problem. Due to it was very late when we got the room, maintenance did come first thing Saturday morning to change the vent, he adjusted the air, and removed the febreeze plug in. Other than that, I enjoyed the room.
The spacious rooms with a kitchenette. It was very clean.

Seems like a small thing, but that could have been a much better night sleep for all three of us after a rough day of airline delays.
