The staff at the reception were not looking like they remotely appreciate you as a guest; most of the time they looked like they can not be bothered. This was also the only thing that we did not like.

The towels are too small.

Everything is wonderful. I love the location near the water and Battery Park, Brooklyn Bridge. The subway station is near. The breakfast is the best. It is really nice that you can find a hotel with a hot breakfast in Manhattan. The staff is very helpful and Nicolette at the front desk was really nice.

Wish the water flowed more. In the fitness center and the basement, the water was almost a trickle. This made anything other than buying water difficult.

Room was spacious. Breakfast was filling. Staff was helpful. Location put me right in the heart of Manhattan, just a little walk from almost all subway lines.

Breakfast was good, but you have to arrive early if you want to be sure you find everything. Hot meals are not refilled as needed.

It is a great location, with the Metro station reachable in less than 5' by foot. The room was clean and silent, bed was very comfortable. You can walk directly to the 9.11 museum and other interesting places. There are plenty of restaurants and Diners nearby.

There was no binder in the room with local resources. Wish there was something that listed a few restaurants & convenient stores within 5-10 miles.

The staff were exceptional. Whenever we needed anything extra or the cleaning staff, we never waited. Staff were also very polite and professional. The beds were comfy.

NYC is a noisy city and since it's a 3 star hotel, they don't have soundproofing, you will want earplugs, headphones or in our case loud rain white noise to drown out the construction that can and does happen overnight, even in the financial district. The bed was a little uncomfortable, but it did the job and again this is a low budget end hotel. If you are wanting to save on accommodation costs so you have more money for the rest of your trip, this place is perfect.

The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Always willing to assist before, during, and after our stay. The location is perfect for us, exactly where we wanted to be, still near lots but away from the busiest part of the city. The room had everything we needed, at an affordable cost. We requested a room away from the elevators after reading other comments. They obliged and we got a nice view that included the river.

The elevators are too small and too slow. There needs to be a notice of passenger capacity. To many tourists squeezed into those small elevators.

The air-conditioning is the noisiest that I have experienced. We complained about it but nothing was done to fix it. It did make the stay a little disappointing. The breakfast buffet was adequate but spoiled with the use of plastic, flimsy cutlery.

Great location most things were close and if they weren't the subway was very close. The rooms were very modern and well appointed with plenty of room.

The elevators were very busy, which resulted in one of them being broken one morning. My husband and I and some other guests were stuck inside. However this was fixed quickly.

It was a good location, the breakfast was great, wide selection. The room was small, but convenient, it was clean. All in all good service and very nice staff.

The breakfast was simple. Although it satisfied our needs. Didn't like plastic cutlery and paper plates.

The location was perfect. Close to subways and ferries. Plenty of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. We had to change rooms as the first one had issues. But this was achieved very quickly. The staff were always friendly and polite.
