To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaCost of parking. Wish that could have been cheaper or discounted for number of days at the hotel. Otherwise, it was nice to know the vehicle was secured in a location.
Location of hotel was great. Close to other areas of interest & metrorail. Surrounding area was quite, clean & safe to walk about in. Breakfast offerings were great. My family liked the fact that there were different items each day. Food was good.

United States of AmericaThe only thing I can think of that I didn’t like is the price of parking. Sixty seven dollars to park my truck for one night is outrageous I may consider another place with cheaper parking next time I come to DC
Had a nice stay even though it was just for 1 night. Hotel is exactly what we wanted. Location to everything was great. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was pretty good too. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

United States of AmericaDon't really have any particular negative, but it would've been nice if there were more restaurant options in the area. Also, there is no ice machine, but I suppose you could make ice from the fridge in the room.
Breakfasts were excellent, with plenty of selections. Room was clean and was provided with kitchenette, ,e.g. pots, pans, plates, bowls, utensils, etc. The hotel is located right above Navy Yard metro station. Even though Google/Apple maps show the station is across the screen but there is actually an entrance/exit right behind the hotel. So to get to it, you exit out the hotel, make a left, and go around the block and you'll see it. So it's just another way to get to the station if you don't want to cross the street.

United States of AmericaThere is a bit too much furniture in the apartment. There air conditoner was a little off. Please explain to the guest that they have to press the master light switch in order for the bathroom lights to turn on.
I was in a good walking distance for everything I needed. The gym is nice. The Breakfast was good.

We loved the location & the breakfast area was spacious and clean. Most of all, we LOVED our room except for no bathtub. The floor to ceiling windows were beautiful & we had a great view! The valet staff was amazing!! They were accommodating & went out of their way to be helpful.
