Great staff. Alot of the "extra stuff" including the ice machine the pool the grills and the fire pit are all out of service. Bummer!!! Ither than that it was great

Looks quite run down. Two buildings are boarded up. Buffet area exists but is unused. No on site laundry despite also serving as a long term stay. Was greeted with a sign stating they had multiple lobbies at one point. Staff member indicated property going to be improved, and it was the previous owners who ran it down.

The fact that there was no iron in my room. I called the front desk and they apologized for not having any at the moment as they are undergoing remodeling.

Could use more cleaning as there were little dead bugs in the window and the kitchen floor needed sweeping by the stove but all in all an ok trip

Staff were extremely nice and helpful. Much better than when they were the Surface Inn. Made sure our room was right. There are a few hiccups as they recently acquired it and are working to fix everything so when I alerted the manager that the spigot in the shower was off she immediately gave us another room and went above and beyond by going to check the room with me and making sure it was good

The only thing was a very foul smell on the second floor.

The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. We love the full-size fridge and cook top, even though we didn't use it. I would definitely stay here again.

Bathtub was not the cleanest and was beginning to rust. The knob to turn the water on was very dirty and unattached. It was an absolute pain trying to "find" the warm water, if the water even warmed up. In most instances it took several minutes for the warm water to emerge. Also, lots of lady bugs everywhere! But worse of all, the hotel is located along train tracks and my room happened to be directly facing the tracks...so the trains were constantly awaking me in the middle of the night!

Friendly staff. Spacious room. More than enough towels, wash cloths, and toiletries included.

Waste baskets. Ice machine working. No ice cube trays to make ice in the room. Light bulb broken in unplugged lamp. Dishwasher needed repair. NO AS ADVERTISED BREAKFAST! Too long of wait for room to be ready.

Property is definitely going through some changes! Lots of renovations. The rooms are a tad out dated but I’d say the price you pay for the space you get is 100% worth it.

I did not like this hotel. Carpets were absolutely filthy, the bathtub looked like construction workers have been in it prior before painting the bath tub with flat wall paint. I was so scared to shower in the tub, I wore crocs to protect my feet. The kitchenette was filthy, grease buildup on the stove itself and on the cabinet handles above it. Nasty drawers, and beneath the kitchenette sink, it was atrocious. Everything smelled of mildew and mold in the hallways. I inspected our bed and noticed there were NO mattress protectors on it!! How GROSS. The pullout bed from the sofa had pretzel crumbs and old tags from clothes buried underneath the mattress. That shows how nice their housekeeping skills are in the hotel itself. The whole property looks like it was under construction and did not offer housekeeping daily.. which is odd to put guests in a hotel like that. They didn’t have extra toothbrushes or nothing for guests just in case they forgotten something during their stay. No front desk after 11pm. A train runs by near the hotel day in and day out, if you want sleep on your stay.. you got another thing coming. Not to mention they charged me by the day for our room and not charge us altogether for our stay upon arrival. In other words, STAY AWAY from here. Take your money elsewhere. We will not be back again.

Worst “hotel” I’ve stayed in, if you can even call it that. The bathtub was the nastiest thing I’ve ever seen. The paint was all cracked and moldy like no one cared enough to fix it. The fridge’s handle was broken/ missing. My room was also right next to train tracks so between that and my nasty room I barely slept a wink. DO NOT STAY HERE

It's 'passable' for a reason. There were no critters of any kind, so that's a huge win. But the cleanliness was sub-par. I dealt with it because I didn't have any other options and I needed a lot of space. But I could see short black hairs around the sink, along the bathtub wall, and even some on the pillow case and bedsheets. Mould along the bathtub wall. Fingerprints and smears on the closet mirror. I also didn't have large bathtowels in my room (I was there for 6 days) but the front desk got me some right away. Just as important - - everyone needs to know that this building is 5 feet from the railroad tracks. They DO run through the night and you feel it rattle the windows a bit as well as rumble through the bed. If you're a light sleeper this place is not for you!

Very spacious room, separate bedroom from living room. Large bathroom area with lots of closet and sink space. Lots of natural lighting possible in the room. Very friendly reception (spoke to 3 different people during my stay).

Cleanliness was not up to par, saw a lot of other people's trash left behind in my room and no trash cans. Our linens were stained and ripped up on the bed. AC went out in our room as well as many other guests, the replacement room ended up being kinda run down as well. Overall just not a great stay and it caused us some discomfort when we should have been able to enjoy our week without issue.

Located 15 minutes out from our intended destination each day, the area did not seem that unsafe or scary.

felt like we were in a construction zone in our room had issues with Toilet flushing and lack of water and warm water hallway stunk . remote wouldn't work . bed was clean and NO bed bugs which was a plus.

It was dated … it’s smelled of smoke n weed … the property looked very unkept on inside and out . It was just very dirty looking . It’s located right on train track … they don’t give you clean towels unless you stayed over a week . There’s only 1 housekeeper . Staffs runs around like their heads are cut off . They don’t seem to have much hotel management knowledge.. The entire stay THERE WAS NOT HOT WATER !! It was freezing cold just to take a shower . I asked about it .. there ans was sometimes it works and doesn’t .. get it fixed !! That would be a freaking priority!!! The hallways were not swept nor mopped the week I was there . Utterly disgusting.., I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone .. there’s tons of undesirable hanging around on property grounds.. quite intimidating… Don’t waste time or money.. I tried booking through hotel site. Bs booking .comm.. Jody the manager said he’s never seen that site and he was gonna cancel my reservation. Mind you it was 97.00 cheaper - then booking.com .. it’s not worth that price. I cancelled it and high tailed it out of there .. Don’t waste your time nor money . It’s a hostile environment
