The floors were a bit creaky but that wasn’t a problem for our stay as I am pretty sure we were the only ones there. If it was a busy night with many guests, I could see how that might be a problem.

Super clean place with a spacious room and two large shared restrooms. A very well equipped kitchen if you made your own food. You’d have to provide all your own food, of course.

While I understand the logic behind the door lock system, those door lock codes are a challenge. I had mine figured out pretty quickly. But others on the hall, well, let's just say that some folks have hard times with directions. Please put the room name in the emails (River Room), not just "the room at the top of the stairs." Again, some folks can't figure things out quickly, so just tell 'em straight.

Quiet. Very clean and well stocked. Lots of thoughtful details (esp. in the WC). The decoration was simple and calming. Being close to the river - awesome. Communication was, overall, to the point and specific. The cost was good value, though I think room rates in Eugene are overall a bit high. Other guests I saw were older and kept to themselves. Not a hangout scene for youth.

For what it is worth, it was a good place to stay for the night on our trip from Humboldt county Ca. to Seattle Wa.

Quiet neighborhood and close to Eugene’s river path system.

The curtains are jusy lace. Felt very exposed changing at night with the lights on. And they block no sunlight, so that will wake you up every morning.

Very comfortable and homey. We were the only ones staying for the one night we were there. Ate at an excellent brewery within walking distance. Neighborhood felt very safe. Small parking lot, but easy for us to park our truck in the street.

There's no staff on duty, which is okay -- but it would have been nice to have a little more specific information about use of bathrooms and kitchen. There was some provided, but some of it was vague. Also, we just stumbled on the river walk when checking out the neighborhood. Again, it would have been great to have a little map or note in our room about the area -- we found some information in one of the common rooms, afterward.

Charming and well kept historical home right next to lovely river walking / biking trails. While bathrooms are shared, there were two on our floor -- spacious, well appointed and very clean. Quiet and well maintained property. Other guests were respectful of shared spaces. We would definitely stay again, and recommend it to travelers who are comfortable sharing a bathroom.

The kitchen was lovely, but would have been even better if it was a true bed & breakfast with someone there to cook a meal in the morning.

This was a lovely, clean, quiet inn in a residential neighborhood bordering on the beautiful path along the Willamette River. A short 10 minute drive to the University of Oregon.

The furniture was rather spare. For instance, I would have liked a comfy armchair in the room. At least seating for two people. The room was nice to hang out in for chatting, knitting, etc. But seating was sparse. Also, bed was comfy, but pillows were a little hard. Not a big deal, but not the best pillows.

Beautiful spacious room. Entirely comfortable and clean. Nice amenities. Very attractive.

Although I did not meet the hosts, the house is set up so that you can come and go independently. Guests are respectful of the shared space. Great location by the River.

No breakfast is served. They supplied coffee, tea and all the utensils, and cookware for food prep. Beautiful kitchen and they provided recycling on site. I did not miss prepared breakfast. It was nice to have the freedom to stick to my diet.

The only thing that wasn’t perfect was the sound traveling late at night with the old/beautiful wood floors. The nice floor runner solved the issue. adding some more rugs especially in front of the rooms would help.
