Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of Americawifi wasn't very good. We tried to watch something on amazon prime but it kept buffering so we just turned it off. And hot water ran out on my shower and was it was pretty cold at the end, but that was ok after running.
Location was great. very close to the river path and in a quiet neighborhood just a few miles from downtown Eugene. we needed a place for one night to cheer for our daughter in the state T&F championships. this place was perfect. Our room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the house was quiet and peaceful. we think there were guests in 2 or 3 other rooms, but really didn't interact much with them. kitchen was stocked well enough. It is very close to the river path, and we had a nice 5 mile run in the morning before making a simple breakfast in the kitchen. Bring your running or walking shoes! We will for sure try this place again next time we need a place in Eugene.

United States of AmericaMy daughter is on the campus, and it isn’t as close as I would like, but definitely NOT a deal breaker.
This is the third time I’ve stayed at the Riverpath Inn. It is an amazing place. The rooms are comfortable, bathrooms clean, kitchen is easy to use. Any other guests I have run into while there have been delightful. It is close to a park area on the river and a nice walking path.

United States of AmericaGood old fashioned inn just like the way things used to be before AirBnB changed everything. You get a room to yourself and the rest of the facility is shared. Lovely setting. Lovely amenities. Beautiful room. Totally equipped kitchen. Classic historic setting. FANTASTIC location right next to the river and in a quiet neighborhood. Easy in, easy out. I felt like I was right at home.

United States of AmericaDon't look any further! This is you best option in Eugene! My short visit to Eugene was for a large event at Hayward Field and my friend warned me motel prices would be spendy for that weekend. I was thrilled to find this Inn, offering a reasonable rate room with a shared bathroom. I was arriving several hours before check in, but had arranged to leave my bag when I flew in. Instead, upon arrival, I found a beautiful home with my room ready for check in! (they had completed it first to accommodate me.) My 2nd floor room was clean and spacious, with lots of natural light, and a comfortable bed. A wonderful balcony with doors from my room was closed for refurbishment, but would be a bonus if I have more time in future visits. There were two bathrooms available for the (I think 4?) upstairs rooms, both very clean and well appointed. And one of the best things about this Inn is the location! I walk every morning and you wake up half a block from an entrance to the beautiful Riverpath...and walking distance to a locale coffee spot, The Wandering Goat. It checked ALL the boxes for my one night stay, and I have already passed on details to friend traveling next week to Eugene.

United States of AmericaAs a traveler with a computer, having slightly larger desks in the 'office' area would have been nice. The ones there certainly worked, but there was room for a slightly larger desk. Only other change would be to replace the chair in the River room. That one wasn't super comfortable to sit in.
I didn't have breakfast at the Inn, but the kitchen was lovely as was the whole house. I loved the garden and spent a very enjoyable couple of hours weeding the pond now that the weather is finally turning decent to get to tasks like that. The hosts aren't generally on the property, but had the fortune of meeting them when I was in the yard and confirmed they would appreciate the gesture. Will definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.

CanadaThere was nothing lacking in this space.
Beautifully restored and decorated rooms with lovely antique touches. The inn and gardens are very nice and welcoming spaces with access to a full kitchen, dining room and lounge. The atmosphere is very peaceful and serene. The neighbourhood is leafy, quiet and near the river path in the fun Whiteaker neighbourhood.

United States of AmericaThere’s a train track that runs all night long and some people cannot wear earplugs to block out the noise so you hear that all night long also when calling to book your told, if you do it throughbooking.com, you get a better rate, which was not the case

United States of AmericaTrain noise was a lot, but that's part of this particular neighborhood.
I was confused as to what room had what amenities due to the pictures of all the rooms being unseparated on different sites for this Inn. I thought my room was supposed to have a full length mirror, and as a performer, needed one to get ready. I mentioned this to the owners and they provided me one within an hour! Add that to the room being top notch clean, the house quiet and peaceful, and our stay super comfortable? Easily one of the best stays we've had. Thanks so much!

The house has been beautifully updated and obviously has been well maintained. The bed was comfortable, the heating worked well, and having access to the kitchen was a plus. On-site parking was also available. Overall, it was a lovely place to stay.

United States of AmericaYou have to be okay with shared facilities, but we barely ran into others guests so this wasn't much of an issue
The check in process was entirely self-service, but the instructions were so clear that we had no problems. There was a noise nuisance that I messaged the staff about, and they dealt with it immediately. Would definitely come back and recommend to others. It was just as peaceful and comfortable as needed, a very welcome getaway.

Very nice place. River room is perfect for solo travel. No issue with two shared bathrooms. I only saw other guests when I arrived otherwise I couldn't tell anyone else was even in the house. House was warm (set at 70) which was nice because it was cold and wet out (big surprise) but I like it cooler for sleeping. The rooms had a large vent that could be closed off so was easy to control the temp in the room. It was nice to be able to open a window for some outside noise and air because it was too quiet in the house. Walking distance to Hop Valley, Heritage, and Oakshire Brewing. Full kitchen had everything you could need. I was able to make my own coffee in the morning which I prefer over the weak hotel stuff. I forgot to check out the sauna in the basement. Next time for sure.
