Disappointed that many businesses in area have limited hours or are closed until Memorial Day weekend. Since weather cooperated we were able to bike and pickleball as well as go to Itasca park. Small kitchen, but we managed.

Excellent location in a town with lots to do. Very good facilities with paddle boards, kayaks, canoe, pontoon and peddle boats. Fit pit and small patio table outside our unit. Reasonable price with kitchen and amenities. Simple cabin but suited us well.

I wish the bathroom was bigger.

It was an adorable location. Clean, right on a lake. The site manager is absolutely awesome. I came back from town and they were removing winter windows, but at the time I didn't know what that was, I thought they were pulling the whole window out during our stay. I was upset! After receiving a lesson in Minnesota windows 😂 I understood what was taking place and that I was wrong. The site manager was nice as he absolutely could be to me during all of that explaining the windows and clearing the air. We will definitely be staying there again.

If I would have known we could just go into our room without finding an employee, it would have made the check-in experience so much better. The 4pm checkin time seems a little late. I realize it gives them more time to get the unit ready, but 4pm to 10am is a small stay window for the $100+ per night fee.

The managers were wonderful, not intrusive but still present and very friendly. Wonderful space with lots of entertainment opportunities and water equipment available to us for free. Kitchen had what we needed. It was great to have a charcoal grill to use, firewood available, docks closeby, plenty of soaps ready, etc. Would definitely come again.

I was hoping to get, at the least, something as good as a Super 8 motel. Bathroom so small you could barley turn around in it. The carpet was very stained and looked filthy. Television did not work, the smoke alarm went off for no reason. The site manager had to come take it out of the room and replace with a new one. ~No we were not smoking or cooking anything~

Bedding was okay, the bathroom was clean. The site manager was as helpful as he could be. The maintenance person was not available to help with anything

Nice location in town, close to downtown. Nice area by the lake to sit at, fire pits, available canoes, paddle boat, kayak, but we didn’t use. I was excited to see we were staying in a cabin, however, was just a small studio style room with NO view—fenced in behind windows, not even able to open windows for breeze. I found there were other bigger rooms available as we were here in the off-season. Online booking stated it was the last room available, otherwise I would have waited until we saw it before booking. Would have appreciated knowing that, would have chosen one of them. Only contact with the place was through online and text message in order to discuss commendations. There was a nice manager on the place when we arrived but all things had to be routed to the owners via text, online, and I guess a phone number at the office, which we never did get to.

The cabin is very old. Bathroom very difficult to navigate and has very old fixtures. I wouldn’t mind old, but that makes it that much more difficult to keep clean. Toilet seat and flusher in disrepair, but able to use with persistence. Extension cord running from living room under door that connects to adjoining cabin. Adjoining cabin lock very simple/rudimentary; did not feel secure. No modern wiring for today’s electronics. Cabin was cozy and it worked just fine for a one-night stay, but I’m afraid I would not return.

Good people to deal with, comfortable bed. Nice refrigerator and microwave. Nice setting.
