If you put your room key anywhere near your phone, it kills the card. Never experienced anything like that before. Front desk will reactivate quickly, but still.

Block and a half from the convention center. Block and a half from the beach. CVS a block away. Walking distance to so much.

The staff is friendly but there's not enough of it. We had to wait for our room for over two hours after the check-in time and after checking in. We had to ask what the status of the room is twice because the staff wouldn't let us know otherwise. The person at the front desk seemed surprised that we were still there waiting for our room even though she was the only staff member there. Apparently she just forgot about us. The hotel won't let you leave your luggage there so we wasted two hours of our lives waiting in the lobby. We asked for compensation of some sort and eventually were allowed a late check-out. We had to ask for it three times though because the first two times the front desk didn't know if any compensation is possible and just told us that she would let us know when she knows (which never happened).

Roof top pool could have had a little more to be desired even with lights and plants. Location wasn’t the hottest place on the strip by any means but still conveniently located.

Very clean and updated. Really like that there are two pools and separate buildings spread over the entire block. Location was fairly good not too far from beach so the money saved was worth the walk.

We have to come to the reception at least 4 times during our 4 night stay to get new keys. We saw many guests who had the same issue. The other thing that bothered me was dirty floors. I walked around the room barefoot for 5 min, and my feet got so dirty.

100usd/night deposit, which still after one week of leaving the hotel is not paid back. Arrogant receptionist. Semi dirty pool area on top of the roof. Junkies in the neighborhood. View from the window was directly to the wall of the next house -> no sun light in the room. Lack of hangers in the wardrobe.

Hotel room was clean, no odors, bed was good to sleep and location was ok. Not too far from the beach or the center of the Miami Beach.

They don’t hold luggage, so you can’t explore the area until you are in a room, and getting heavy luggage to and from the multiple buildings is difficult. They have a ramp on their stairs for the building we were in, but it was steep. I feel that people with mobility issues would have a hard time with this building. The elevator wasn’t working in our building initially, so I had to haul 2 heavy suitcases up three flights of stairs, but the elevator issue was resolved later in the day. The rooms are nice, and I appreciated the large living room space for repacking before leaving, but there weren’t a lot of places to hand towels nor wet swimsuits for more than 1-2 people in the room. There also weren’t a lot of walkable restaurant options, so that made finding food for picky kids difficult.

I liked that there were multiple pool options, including one pool in the shade surrounded by bamboo, so we didn’t have to wear sunscreen there and the temperature of the pool was like a nice warm bath. I liked the walkability to South Beach.

The thermostat didn’t work and the shower didn’t really get hot. Housekeeping and painters enter your room at the weirdest times. They knock once and then open the door not giving you the opportunity to even answer.

I loved the balcony, the pool, and how close the property was to the pool and strip.

The ceiling in the room was not painted at all. Staff told us that it was a concept of the hotel. But every morning you literally wake up just like in the construction area. Bathroom door was not closing properly. There was also a locker on it, that didn’t work. The balcony had two doors, but only one of them was closing properly. At one moment entry door to the room became locked and we had waited for more than 15 minutes before a man came and fixed the problem. There is no parking in the hotel. It was not a surprise, but the nearest parking demanded $40 flat rate for 1 night what was one on mind. So if you come by car, consider other parkings with hourly rates or lower overnight rates. There is no coffeemaker in the room, nor complimentary water.

The concept with graffiti on the walls, roof pools and patios inside the mansion is really cool. Lots of plants and music is also an advantage. Balcony with chairs is also cool. Location is very good, it’s near the beach and cafes.

    - Old TV with 2 channels. There was no way to even connect your YouTube. There are two useless TVs in the room. - The pool was heated well only on the first day. on other days the water in the pool was cool. The wooden sunbeds need to be replaced, they are uncomfortable. - The windows in the room do not open, so there is a musty smell. - On the last day of our stay, the elevator in our building stopped working. - AMEX cards are not accepted at the reception. It’s good that my friend had another credit card with him, otherwise we would have nothing to pay the deposit with.

Convenient location. There is a bar in the hotel, another bar and a grocery store opposite. Also nearby is CVC. The beach is close. Not noisy. Polite staff. The rooms are well cleaned. There are enough towels and they are changed constantly. Beach towels are clean and dry. There is good unobtrusive music playing in the pool.

No possibility to store the luggage on the last day. We never saw that in another hotel and this was a problem on our last day since our flight was only at night. This would be a reason to choose another hotel next time.

Good location and good value for money (in comparison to other more expensive hotels in South Beach).

What booking.com don’t tell you is that you can’t store your luggage before or after. When questioned the hotel they were quite rude and said it’s in our policy ……well it’s not when I checked so I’d advise it’s updated. I travel very frequently and have never come across this at all. The solution they give you is to take it to a locker down the steeet which to be honest is quite inconvenient as I had a lot of heavy luggage. I only stayed for one night but the singer on a Friday night was so loud and right next to my room that I ended up having to go for a walk as I couldn’t hear the tv or relax!!

The hotel is in a great location and the room is a really good size
