One of my favorite places I've ever visited. Lovely view, clean rooms and an amazing host! The host even upgraded our rooms. I would definitely visit again.

The owner or manager was very rude. On the second day, we noticed people checking out. So we offered to pay any difference to get moved from our non-view room to a beach view room. This resulted in a long tirade about how the best rooms are not available through websites; we should have called the hotel directly to ask for that initially. Except I did call before making the reservation to ask how late we were able to checkin. There was no mention of the best remaining rooms only being available over the phone. Actually, there was not a mention of much. When I called, the person answered with "Hello" and no further greeting. Which prompted me to apologize and explain that I tried to contact the motel. Then they said "Yes, this is Tradewinds Motel." How about lead with that? So here is the warning to anyone that is considering booking the hotel online: don't. Stay somewhere that understands it is the 21st century. And if you have no other options, call them to make your reservation.

The room was clean and easy to access from the parking lot. The hotel is very close to the main road and easy to find when you arrive. We checked in about 15 minutes before they closed and the office and the receptionist was very helpful. The hotel has a wooden staircase down to the beach.

I'm not sure what we didn't like; we only stayed about 24 hours. The motel was great, the manager was great, and the location was great. It is not easy to find a good hotel in these smaller towns, but this one is a no brainer. Loved it!

The hotel manager was the best; he welcomed us when we arrived late and gave us some great tips as we departed the next day. The rooms were large and cozy. I loved this motel and wish I could find more like it.

The room was bigger than we expected . The balcony view was exceptional and the sun sets magnificent. Kitchen had everything we needed. Great location. The beach is out the back door. It was quiet. Coming back.

The only thing that wasn't good was the fire place was put of order.

The room very clean and perfect size. Ocean view was fabulous. Just a few steps and you were right on the beach. The manager that checked us in very polite I would stay there again for sure. Never had a room with aa view like this one.

Could def use some updates, some old weird holes and peeling pant in the rooms. Fireplace didn’t work. Said there was a beachfront pool and spa but there was not. But for the price, you cannot beat the amazing location and views

Loved the ocean view and our deck had a path down to the water! Staff was very nice and even gave a bottle of champagne when our toilet flusher broke! Kitchen was also a nice addition, but did not use. Shower water pressure was awesome! Very beautiful location and very close to coffee and restaurants!

The only thing I was disappointed about was the fireplace being out of order. I hope they get replaced with gas ones.

Everything! Great view. Clean room. Extra pillows and blankets in closet. Kitchen was stocked. Huge room!! Housekeeping called in the morning, on our first morning, to see if we needed anything.

Fire place out of service

A great location on the beach. The bonus was all the kitchen had to offer. Disappointed the fireplace was out of service. The linens were clean and neat. The entire unit seemed very clean. The office people were very nice and polite. We were fortunate there was no one staying in the unit above us, so it was a quiet night. We would definitely stay here again.

The only tiny issue is uncomfy pillows, everything else is amazing!

This is by far our favorite place to stay on the Oregon coast! We come back every year and it’s always perfect! Clean, comfortable and perfect location! Everything you need for a wonderful stay in the beautiful Pacific Northwest! We love Tradewinds motel!
