Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Access was a little tricky. Google maps wanted to take us to the back of building.

Awful shampoo, very limited breakfast options, check in time of 4pm is pretty late, bath towels were old and one even had unclean spots (muddy drop or foundation perhaps?). Price given location, room type and service level is low value for money.
Huge parking area, decently sized rooms with comfy bed.

Breakfast was just okay, nothing special.

The AC / Heat unit had a bit of an odor.
This is not a fancy place, but it is well managed, clean, and comfortable. There is a kind lady who makes the best scrambled eggs. Considering the word "Econo", this place.is the best.

The room was very nice and clean. The laundry was clean, which we utilized. Breakfast was great as someone made you scrambled eggs, or a cheese omelet if you wanted. That was a bonus because it was fresh made.

It was yet another place that has a bathtub but no way to take a bath. Other than that, it was fine.
The Econo Lodge in Santa Fe is clean, comfortable, easy to find, and has convenient parking. The breakfast is extraordinary with all of the usual better breakfast choices AND a woman making omelets or scrambled eggs to order! It was too cool for me to use the pool, but the steam rising from the hot tub was very tempting. The check-in was easy and when I came back looking for a map, it was provided complete with an explanation of how to find the best sights, etc. The gentleman was most helpful.

The computer system was down which delayed check in.
One of the staff left his wedding to come work and check guests in! Felt family-run and friendly. The freshly cooked to order eggs at breakfast were a nice surprise. Great big bed, plenty of space, clean and comfortable. Great value.

There were some age issues with the curtains, and the bath tub; but for the value it was fine. My daughter thought is was very acceptable.
The staff were very accommodating, kind and helpful! These people are very professional and I couldn't say enough about how welcomed we felt!

It was kind of hard to get a hold of someone at the front desk when we needed them but the staff was super friendly so that made up for it. The parking lot was also shaped sorta funny so it was a little hard to get out in certain positions within the parking lot. But other than those very very small details it was a fantastic stay! This has nothing to do with the hotel just Santa Fe in general; There were unfortunately a lot of tweakers wandering around but that's really about anywhere you go nowadays so I'd just be a little more careful is all!
The room was wonderful and comfortable! Everything was right next door so that was super nice! The decorations and details throughout the building were absolutely beautiful! The hot tub and pool were an absolutely fantastic addition after a long drive after our wedding. Overall I'd recommend this hotel to just about anyone that was planning on staying in Santa Fe New Mexico!

Even though the room was booked using credit card guarantee, the property was calling me to "confirm" the booking. Not sure if they would have given the room to someone else if I could not pick up the phone
