Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The upstairs walkway going to our rooms could be repainted, it looked a little scruffy. The rug in our room had some frayed transitions.
If you like vintage, this place is for you. It was clean, comfortable, and they had complementary chips and candy in the room. Very nice. And the front desk person was super accommodating and very nice also.

We did not like the glass exterior wall, but the heavy curtain did a great job maintaining privacy.
The room was impressively well renovated. It was the best night's sleep we have had in two weeks. The bed was super comfortable. The room temperature was easy to adjust. We definately enjoyed the complimentary snacks in the room. This is, by far, a great deal.

While eating breakfast i left my coat on because it was so cold in that area of the hotel.

The room I stayed in was very clean and the staff was very nice. They also had a quick complimentary breakfast. I wish there was an option in the room to turn on the AC as it got a little warm at times during the day. The only switch I saw was for the heater fan.
Great location! Close to the interstate, restaurants and things to do.

I only had one night to stay in the area.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient.The room was clean and comfy. They provide free snacks in the room and a nice place to enjoy breakfast in the morning.

The exterior was not impressive. The heat and AC were a little confusing to use. The age of the facility showed.
Interior and service was very good. Good value and nice to get a few free treats and water in the room. Comfortable beds and good TV.

This is an older hotel, but the room was really clean, bed was super comfortable and it had everything we needed for a few nights stay, including complimentary snacks and water in our room (and a good size fridge). The staff was really friendly and accommodated us leaving a day early before a blizzard hit. Breakfast was pretty standard breakfast bar offerings but it was well stocked all morning with attentive staff. There's free popcorn and coffee 24/7 and this is in a great location right off the highway (but the room was very quiet). I'll definitely be staying here again on my travels.

Nothing not to like. It was a great value.
The staff were lovely and the place although old was very well maintained. Rooms were comfortable and breakfast was very nice.

The outside looks deceiving. Needs updating. But the ratings/reviews pretty much hit this place on the nose
Was surprisingly very comfortable and clean. Bed was comfortable and clean. The complimentary snacks were a pleasant surprise and Penny's diner open 24 hours in the same parking lot was perfect for late traveling.

Location. But the room and the service was exceptional. One of the best values. I’ve ever gotten from a Booking.com referral. Room, spacious, clean, well furnished, and the bed was comfortable. It was a great value.

The heating was old and took a long time (2 hrs+) to heat the room. Lighting was poor. Even with all the lights on... good thing I just wanted to sleep when I got in.
Location and cost were high points. Good for a one night stop while traveling cross country. Breakfast had plenty of items to take with me to eat my breakfast on the road. Free snacks and bottled water in the room - were a nice touch.
