Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe toiletries, towels, and garbage were not replaced during our entire week stay. The chairs in the room were filthy. There were cigarette burns in the sheets. One side of the bed didn't have an outlet because it was taken up by the microwave and freezer burnt fridge.
Price was definitely you got what you paid for, cheap. Walking distance of public transportation and SEATAC.

United States of AmericaWalls and some woodwork could have been better painted. An appliance, blow drier was not in good condition, was held together with packing tape. Had to ask for room cleaning and replacement of used towels and bed linens.
Room was clean, bed was a little firmer than my own but comfortable. Microwave and fridge in room both worked well. Shower had plenty of hot water. Television had good selection of channels including some premium channels. In room heating amd cooling .

United States of AmericaI chose this hotel because they had a complimentary shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. But they didn't answer when I got to the shuttle phones. Calling the hotel separately I was told that the shuttle only runs until 7pm! The taxis have a standard rate they are required to charge of $25 and paying that extra amount pretty much ate up anything I saved by staying at a lower rated hotel! The owner is not taking good care of this hotel. The very first thing I saw was a loose tile trying to fall from the edge of the building into the walkway. The lobby looked dingy and the clerk standing behind a clear protective shield made it look more like I was at a back street pawn shop than at a hotel near an international airport. The clerk turned out to be really nice and didn't deserve the ominous impression the hotel structure gives. Had I not made reservations with a pledge to pay I would have gotten back in the taxi and left. After checking in I walked - struggling to pull my luggage along - across a series of rubber pads (presumably in place to keep the noise down) and turned down a dingy hallway. My door stuck when I unlocked it and it was pitch black inside once I got the door open. Turning on the lights didn't help much. Everything looked dirty to my eyes. The carpet was very dark; difficult to tell how much was ancient dirt and how much the original color. The bedspreads were very garish and made the room look even more like the setting of a crime show. There was no coffee pot or tea tray. No microwave and I didn't bother to check if the mini-fridge actually worked. I was exhausted from a long international flight so, despite my concerns over bedbugs and other vermin, I curled up on the bed and pulled the spread over me and slept until my bladder said I had to make a move.
In the bathroom there was no sign of any kind of bug. Not even any spiders. It obviously wasn't freshly painted but it was as clean as scrubbing could make it. The sink (outside of the bathroom) was also clean and reasonably stocked. I realized the room was so cold because I was being trusted with turning on the heater - which I did. I finally pulled back the covers; the sheets and pillows looked perfectly clean so I got into bed properly and got more sleep. The mattress was comfortable and so were the pillows. In the morning I pulled back the curtains and had the parking lot as the view. When I checked-out the clerk was again kind and helpful. Coffee and hot water were available in the lobby so I fixed a cup of tea while waiting for the shuttle bus to be ready for its airport round. The shuttle driver was a bit brusque but made sure he knew which airport entrance we needed and got us there in good time.
