Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Booked on Booking.com because it said breakfast included. It was not. Hotel said they did not do breakfast and offered a granola bar! Not acceptable to advertise breakfast. Would not have booked if had known no breakfast

The breakfast listed consisted of coffee and small granola bars; pretty paltry. We were there the end of March; weather was in upper 70s. There is an outdoor pool. It was a beautiful spot but was not opened yet for season. It would have been nice to use the pool as weather was nice.
Nice property located in an area where there were many places to eat. Easy access to the downtown area. Staff person was very accommodating in assisting to meet the needs of my husband who needs to sleep upright.

We hadn't been forewarned (that we can tell) that we would pay extra for our cats, though our booking asked specifically for a pet-friendly place. The previous night's "pet-friendly" hotel did NOT charge extra, so Rodeway's policy was a surprise disappointment. Also, our booking at Rodeway included breakfast; however, that meant a not-great coffee and a small granola bar. Again, the hotel we were in the night before showed the exact same verbiage on the confirmation, and there really WAS a varied breakfast bar offering with eggs, sausage, biscuits, waffles, several cereals and drunk offerins, so Rodeway fell extremely and disappointingly short in that expectation as well.
Great location for a night's stopover, by the highway and with several eateries in walking distance. Friendly, helpful staff.

Breakfast was 1 granola bar each. We chose this hotel because they offered breakfast. Only 1 pack for in-room coffee provided. Parking lot was in very poor condition in need of repair. Unit entrance had dangerous chunks missing and covered with a door mat. The unit plank flooring had large gaps - 1/4 to 1/2” deep - very uncomfortable to walk on. Would definitely NOT stay there again in this condition.
Good location. Beds we’re comfortable. Tub/shower had a grab bar. Able to park in front of our door.

Coffee and filters from previous guests in the coffee pot. Sinks and shower could have been cleaned more.
Albert and Lindsay, who work the front desk, were extremely helpful. We had some special needs and they worked together for our family to make that happen.

Was not clean, sketchy area. Not completely comfortable with the other customers staying. Trash around, parking lot in bad condition. Room smelled awful. 6 crickets in the room. Stains everywhere. Burn marks, holes in the wall. Burn marks on toilet seat and wall. Stains on curtains. People having a party in the parking lot, drinking lots and singing all night, music playing loudly. Someone knocking on my door at 230 am. Vending machine completely empty. Breakfast 😞 was not comfortable and not worth the few dollars saved. Pool was completely green and gross and the gate was chained shut. Would not recommend or stay again. Receptionist was super nice!

I made the reservation and the staff knew what room I was assigned, and approximately what my arrival time was and didn't turn on the AC in the room.

Coffee available in the office.
Room was clean and had amenities as noted in booking. I was surprised/unhappy, however, that the room did not have a coffee maker. Nor was coffee available at the office. This small addition would make a big difference to frequent travelers like me!
