Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe location is isolating, with no nearby shops, so you must use Doordash or Instacart. However it is well-lit, you feel extremely safe, and I would most certainly stay again. Great location for the Comdey factory.
The whole building is nice, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and down to earth. The rooms are enormous and exceeded my expectations. The apartment has everything you need; you need your clothes and food if you're like me and like to cook. I took videos, not photos, but I promise you, you won't regret your stay.

United States of AmericaDidn’t like that the bedding did not have a top sheet, only a duvet covered quilt and the bottom sheet was extremely wrinkled. That said, the mattress was very comfortable.
Great location for my purpose of visiting. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The building and our room were exceptionally bright and inviting. We didn’t use it but loved that a washer and dryer were available in the room. We were impressed with the shower, clean and large with great water pressure.

United States of AmericaThere was no parking on site. I was offered to use either a nearby municipal parking lot or a parking building that was next to the hotel with a discounted rate (the cost was $20 per 24 hours for either option). I chose the municipal parking lot. It was about 3-4 mins walk, which was okay. There were a lot of spaces. There were too few cars in the night so I worried a bit. But I was told that the lot was being surveillanced 24 hours.
I stayed in the apartment with sea view. We were a group of 3, and we really enjoyed staying there. The apartment was very spacious, clean and well equipped. The view was excellent. The staffs were very friendly and nice. The hotel seemed newly built. I strongly recommend you to stay here if you want to stay in a quiet place and don't mind being a little far from downtown. (*) The description for some of the apartment types (including the one I stayed in) were confusing. The unit I chose was the "Apartment with Sea View". In the booking.com description it said that the unit had 1 queen bed, although it said it was for up to 4 people. So I checked at the Roost Baltimore website and the same unit (based on the photos) listed as "Two Bedroom Apartment Waterfront View + Balcony" said it had 2 king beds. So I booked in the booking.com but was not 100% sure. Fortunately they did have 2 beds (not sure king or queen).

United States of AmericaExtremely loud and obnoxious guests “hanging out” in the lobby, which made my husband’s and my first impression of the place a bit skeptical and almost w/regret of where we were staying. We had trouble hearing the staff talk to us even during our check-in. Unfortunately, nothing was done in asking the other guests to lower their voices and their behavior.
Nice decor, very clean, great fragrance(aroma) throughout, spacious apartment w/an abundance of amenities!

United States of AmericaParking was a challange. A block and half away and $20 if you dowload at the hotel which had spotty Wi-fi at the front desk. If you pay at the location, it's $33. It didn't help that we had blustering winds, so that walk from the car to hotel was less than comfortable. Also, one person at the front desk handling new reservations and checking in. No complaints about the employee, who did a good job multi-tasking, but shouldn;t have had to. Oh yes, the elevator went out and we had to walk our bages up the stairs.
The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The rooms are sizeable and have just about everything you need. The area is a few years away from full gentrification but shaping up nicely. In the near future it will be the most desireable location in Baltimore.

United States of AmericaDue to off-peak stay - pool and bar in lounge wasn't open. The bedroom windows didn't have fully block out curtains, so the outside light peaked a little inside by the edges of each window. (Just a note: There are only 3 free guests street parking spots at the hotel; if all are taken, you will need to parked in the block away garage or open lot for a fee per night.)
I was looking for a hotel to stay that was close to Baltimore's city center without all the congestion and a quieter location. This is in an up incoming neighborhood so close to Fells Point. I had a warm welcome at check-in and was informed that the room was upgraded! It was on a higher level and was a 1 bedroom apartment-like room with all the amenities - full kitchen, large bathroom and even had a washer and dryer.

United States of AmericaIt is so hard to cook on stainless steel and the pans in my studio were not washed well. They all needed bartender’s cleaner which is a must for stainless steel pans. The coffee system was way too complicated. I had no idea how fine or coarse to grind the beans to make the pour over work and mine turned out way too watery. They need better instructions on how to brew the perfect cup. Overall great amenities, but missing a few key things in the kitchen: Salt, pepper, sugar, creamer (These are often included in hotels with kitchenettes and I recommend offering a few packets of each), storage containers. I also wish they offered olive oil or olive oil spray since that would make this place top notch. No one wants to buy or bring oil for a hotel stay. Parking is annoying (pay an app and have to walk 5 min), but only $20/night which is cheaper than most Bmore hotels. There is a loading zone in front of the hotel where you can park for 15 min but note that this is strictly enforced and you will get a ticket if you extend. The neighborhood is very clean and pretty, but too boring and quiet for my taste. Please note that daily room service is NOT included, but is offered at an extra fee.
The hotel itself is wonderful and the staff is super kind. the gym is small, but quite good and I love that they have a Peloton and row machine. It smells wonderful when you enter. the lobby is modern, yet cozy and welcoming. Bed is very comfortable. Very safe neighborhood with security always patrolling. It is ~15-20 min drive to the inner harbor/fells point and ~5-10 min to federal hill depending on the area and traffic.

United States of AmericaNoted above, there were no soap dishes/ledges in the shower.
As prior reviews have stated, you are first greeted in the lobby with a very pleasant relaxing smell and live plants. This is not the first aspect that greets you however, the neighborhood, much of which is under construction, is very nice, quiet, and clean. Street parking is available (4 hour increments), though I was unable to figure out the pay by text feature. This worked out, however, because I was provided a better parking option upon check-in. The garage across the street offers 24-hour increment parking for $20. The garage is in walking distance and felt safe. Make sure to ask for specific directions to the garage as I got a little turned around. The front desk staff was pleasant and accommodating. I arrived in town early and called to see if I could check in early (2 hrs before posted check-in times.) Thankfully, I was advised my room was already inspected and available and there was no fee or problem checking in early. This was a huge relief. The rooms are as pictured. Apartment style, clean, modern, spacious, well decorated with very nice live plants. They provide the basics: dish soap, paper towels, body wash, shampoo and conditioner, towels, plates, cups and utensils. There was a washer/dryer also. The large windows are really nice. Mine overlooked the outdoor patio which is really nice and other buildings, some of which were still under construction but still a nice view. My only observation on an area for improvement is the shower. My shower did not have any ledges or soap dishes, which was a minor inconvenience. Not a big deal for my 1 night stay, but would get annoying for longer stays. The location is great, cost effective, and only a 15-minute drive to the Inner Harbor. It is ride share accessible. Overall, I was very pleased and would definitely be back.

United States of AmericaWhen you go to a hotel, you would hope to be greeted with a friendly smile from the host. Maybe they were having a bad day or didn't want to be there, but the concierge was a bit unfriendly and found their customer service to be sorely lacking. I dealt with them on the phone prior to arriving and love to be friendly with others. They weren't really of the same mindset I guess and we felt very unwelcome when we came in to check in. Overall, a great stay. Perhaps others won't care about being greeted by a friendly person.
Beautifully decorated, lovely facilities, lots of space and they had everything there we needed. We enjoyed our new year there
