We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaI did not like the Hotel canccelled my reservation for friday using the excuse my credit card was not working and that was a lie. They tried to charge me 500.00 dollars cash, and that hotel does not rate 500 per night.
I like the bed, but I was disatified with the Room, no coffe maker, no microwave, no Refrigerator like all the Hotels I stayed when I used bookings.com. The room did not even had a chair so I could sitdown to work in my computer UNACCEPTABLE.

United States of AmericaNo big deal, but I wish it had been a smidge cleaner overall. The hotel's posh quotient would jump sky high with some new linens and a spring clean of the lobby and elevator. Some potted plants, artwork, and chairs in the lobby would warm up the entrance! The lack of chair(s) in the room was a little weird, but not a deal breaker by any means. For travelers - don't let my comments here put you off. This is a great place!
I come to NYC every few days for work. I am always on the search for a clean, cheap, no-frills hotel. My usual place had jacked up their prices - so I was glad to find Royal Hotel Bronx. The price was perfect, the room was fine, and, most important, the place was super quiet. I was there the day that the wildfires covered NYC in smog, so I was really happy my room was clean and didn't smell like smoke. I didn't use the tv or anything, but I was perfectly happy to sit on the bed, do some work, and sleep for a few hours. Loved the shampoo squeeze bottle that came with the room.

GhanaHouse keeping is cutting corners with the cleaning in the bathroom. If they continue on this path of poor corner cutting shoddy work, very soon the hotel will lose patrons. Even more disgusting was the fact that the front desk was unattended when I arrived at the lobby, and had to wait for well over 5 minutes before the guy showed and was angry that I had knocked on the metal entrance gate into his station. In the bathroom, there was no soap (facial cleansers), and when I called the front desk to ask about it, the guy had the nerves to ask me (the client) to come down from my room on the 5th floor to come and collect the soap from him.
The property is in good shape, neat (superficially), but poorly cleaned.
