You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of Americahot water didn't get hot, fire alarm was removed, just old and outdated and dingy key card didnt work, and instead of getting us a new card the attendant just walked us up and let us in and left it was late and we only stopped to sleep, so we were too tired to argue, but it felt very weird to be in a room with no key card and was inconvenient that only one of us could go out at a time there was a delay checking out the next morning because of not having key cards - they had to wake the attendant that let us in to confirm we didnt have them it was obvious the family running it lives there which is fine but it felt odd to deal with an attendant in their pajamas multiple times

United States of AmericaFor $81, I felt like I was at old motel where people lived. The staff was nice, but the room smell horrible...I couldn't use the tub...uncomfortable. Just sprayed it candle & told myself it was for one night. This shouldn't have been a suggestion from you guys. Its like I trust you wouldn't suggest a place like this.
Staff was nice; even gave me a gift bag of goodies.

We had to wait over 4 hours for booking to return money and we were responsible for finding our own hotel at 1:30am. And we're charged double for another hotel. This was an awful experience from waiting at the door and right the bell and calling over and over. Dont waste your time staying here
