Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe room was small but clean and is reasonably priced for what you get.
Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The location is close to the ferry terminal.

Perfect location, very clean. Brilliant for accessing Hurricane Ridge. Great pub - Hook & Line - a couple of blocks away.

United States of AmericaAfter our stay, we alerted the owners to minor improvements: The bathtub drained slowly, and the light switch to the sink was "tricky" ie the light turned on but only after several on/off attempts. Also, while the hair blower functioned fine, part of the end of the blower (where the hot air comes out) had hardened melted plastic. This did not affect the functioning of the unit, it just looked bad. However, likely it was due to a customer using the hair blower incorrectly that caused the melting, so not a big deal really.
It was very good for a basic room in a motel. It was clean. The king bed was comfortable. We slept very well for the three nights we were there. The staff was friendly and helpful. The refrigerator, microwave, and hair blower all worked well, as did the television. Yes, I would recommend this motel to someone looking for a basic, inexpensive room. We chose it because we could easily keep an eye on the parking lot where our truck was parked with our kayaks locked on top.

United States of AmericaRoom 107 smelled really damp, almost rotten, until we turned on the heater/AC. It IS an old building after all.
Convenient location and good value for overnight stays in Port Angeles, with the goal to visit Olympic National Park. Laundromat almost next doors which makes doing laundry quite convenient. Depending on the room you might not even hear the often complained noise of traffic. The beds were comfy and bathroom looked recently renovated; even though the building exterior did look quite old.

United States of AmericaIt looked like a recent remodel, but the toilet tank was leaking (clean water) which left the floor around the toilet wet.
This was an affordable motel withing walking distance of the ferry. Clean, with good parking and friendly staff.

SwitzerlandWhen turning on the shower the water first came out brownish… so I assume the pipes are a little older and maybe rusty… however that went away after a minute and was no problem when using the shower head. The sink did not drain very well… But otherwise the room was very clean and great room.
Good location to explore the Olympic National Park. Very friendly staff and clean room. Felt safe. Microwave was great. As the motel seems to be older it is kept in good shape.

FranceEven though the room was clean, there was a farm-like smell in it. Didn’t bother us too much and we just cracked a window open to make it go away.
The room itself was clean, it was nice and warm when we got in - which was nice considering how cold and snowy it was outside. It’s ideally located from the Main Street in Port Angeles, as well a one of the Olympic NP visitor center. We arrived way earlier than check-in time but were still able to get a room and get settled. Check-out was so easier with a drop off box for the room key outside of the office.

United States of AmericaAs mentioned expensive for this level of motel and parking lot was too full for us to park after returning from dinner. No maid service unless you asked for it but we weren’t informed of this up front.
Close to waterfront and visitor center to Olympic National park. Room was clean and comfortable but dated. Very expensive for this level motel I think because of the crab festival in town for the weekend we happened to come.

GermanyThe bathroom needs a renovation. Tub looked like it had not been thoroughly scrubbed in a long time, turned gray. The shower was only a faucet in the wall, no removable shower head, so serious acrobatics are required to get yourself or the tub clean (cups are not provided, so no way to rinse the tub that way even).
Beds were comfortable. Great location for visiting the park.
