Front desk lady was on her cell phone and told me to wait because she needed to finish something not working related. She looked very unprofessional and her desk was very messy with her prescription medication in sight 😳

The young black receptionist on duty at about 7pm March 3rd was very Good, she is an excellent worker very respectful and knows what she is doing the cleaners were very nice and friendly

Killed 4 cockroaches in our room. Notified staff, they sprayed our room and placed bait traps. I felt a reimbursement of some amount should have been given to us but nothing was received.

At one point our door was opened and a lady stepped in and discovered we were there. No knock or alert for us prior to her entry. She left without saying a word. When I opened the door she was pushing a mop cart and didn't respond to me.

Breakfast wasn't good. First morning food was barely luke warm. Didn't bother to go second morning. Saturday morning hope for better. Not much improvement. Breakfast consisted of egg rounds, biscuits and gravy that tasted older. Dry cereal, bread, English muffins and bagels for toasting and juice.

The fridge in the room was making a lot of noise. We had to unplugged it. And the fridge was not clean at all inside we were not able to use it.

The beds sat too low but that's subject to size I'm six foot tall for comparison. The breakfast they offered was what someone might consider the bare minimum required to say they have it with it starting late and ending early each day. You will be able to tell who the older staff are based on attitude.

I rated it high on cleanliness because I was comparing it to a previous stay there. I would say the cleaning staff did a sufficient job. There was breakfast this time as well. The new staff members were more pleasant than the hotel had previously.

The elevator wasn’t working I had visited in March and when I came back in May it still wasn’t working. I’ve always stayed in the Ruskin Inn when visiting family but these past stays the property has gone down in the sense of it looks cheap & not safe.

It was very sketchy. My daughter and I were sitting on the beds when we woke up and the housekeeper opened the door abruptly. My daughter said “hello” and the housekeeper says “oh so thought you checked out”. The problem I have with this is that she didn’t know before opening the door or apologize afterwards!

People hanging in parking lot at night drinking mostly men. Someone was smoking Marijuana at the pool and parking lot every day they sat by our window that faces the pool and it was coming into our room from the a/c I spoke with the front desk about it and nothing was done I had to get air freshener for our room. I didn’t feel safe going to the parking lot to walk our dog. I also fell in the parking lot and busted my knee from a piece of iron coming from ground When I asked the desk clerk for bandages I was told they had none she did not feel concerned with my fall in the parking lot I would never stay there again
