The bed is a little soft for our tastes and, I think, worn. It sags in the middle so you might check the support bars. You might consider putting a hand rail on the steps from the casita to the driveway. It would help us more mature folks but it was not unsafe or a real problem. Just a suggestion.

Steps up to the cabin were a little unstable and the lights at night did not work. Property overall could use some repairs, but the cabin we used was awesome!

Location was perfect, view was exceptional! Just the right size for 2 people.

Not much guidance in questions I asked and there were many ants. Hard to find in the dark. Maybe change the door code, the numbers are worn down making it obvious what the code might be.

Pretty scenery around. Good size. Fairly comfortable. Closet, tables, could cook a meal, there is stove top and pots and such. All around just pretty.

There was a bad ant problem. The bed was covered with them when we pulled the covers back. As I sat in the chair near the bed working, they were crawling all over my computer and me. When I went to cook breakfast, the kitchen counter was covered in them, and they were also crawling on the bathroom sink and shower. The owners gave me directions to find ant traps in a storage room that could not be located. They said they would direct me when we returned, but that was going to be well after dark. I couldn't locate it in the daylight and I was not comfortable looking in the dark. The next day they said they would order ant traps at the hardware for us to pick up, but we were leaving. They did give us a refund of $100 for the inconvenience of the ant problem. They told us the people before us didn't say there was an ant problem. I'm not sure they couldn't have had ants as there were so many. We were able to find the ant spray in the cupboard and sprayed all around the bed before we left for groceries and that helped keep them off the bed. I also did not realize the extent of how far we would have to walk from the parking area. The person I was traveling with has had hip and knee replacements. There are no railings for her to hang on to for the walk. While the walk was not a problem at all for me, it was for her. If this had been noted in the description, I may not have rented this for her. Not possible for someone in a wheel chair.

The location was very pretty and had a great view. It was as expected from the pictures. A truly convenient and lovely area.

There was an issue that threatened our peace of mind and enjoyment, but Arna was so kind about it. We were provided the tools we needed to deal with it and compensated for the inconvenience.

Location!!!! The views are AMAZING. Excellent proximity to everything we love doing in Sedona. To walk out the front door and be hiking is phenomenal.

What I liked is that I had a roof over my head and a toilet. It was remote and quiet.

The description offered for travel to this “place” was not at all what they said it would be. No TV, which it stipulated, ants in bathroom, poor bedding, front door that wouldn’t lock, poor lighting walking up trail to get to “place”. It was listed as a cottage, but appeared to be a mobile home converted into 3 rooms with beams in ceiling trying make it look like a cabin. Tried to contact owners with no response. Not a property you should recommend. Sorry, this is what I didn’t like. Posted in wrong location.

Room felt a bit dingy. Bed skirt was dirty. The little sitting area outside had broken pieces of a pathway light - should clean up that area.The one small bar of soap was waterlogged. Pillows smelled musty. Would have liked to know that there were two flights of uneven stone stairs and gravel walk from parking to room - had to carry my luggage. The $75 cleaning fee was a bit much considering it was a medium sized room with small kitchenette. I just stayed in a very large six bedroom house in Scottsdale and the cleaning fee was $75. Quite a contrast.

The only suggestion I have would be to somehow incorporate a small indoor bistro table inside of the cottage.

The cottage itself was a perfect homebase for us during our week-long stay in Sedona; it was cute, cozy, simple, and clean. The location was excellent. While it was definitely private, we were less than a mile from Whole Foods, restauarants, shops, and more. Our favorite part was the trail out back, which allowed us to walk up to see the sunrise and sunset almost every day. The property radiated with the smell of wildflowers and we saw many local creatures during our daily walks. We will definitely consider coming back here.

super close to everything, all within a 5-10 drive of hiking and shops/restaurants. We saw a coyote from our bedroom window (behind the fence) it was awesome!!
