Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Can't think of a thing!
Very well run local boutique beach hotel in a great location. Small in size but big on extras. Although we didn't have time to take advantage of all the extras including : use of bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas and access to fishing equipment etc., we did enjoy the snacks, pool area and close proximity to Neptune Beach and The Town Center. Extremely accommodating management team.

Was a little surprised over the location. It’s wedged between a dentist office and a McDonald’s (although if you eat fast food that’s kinda convenient). And our bed maybe needs to be replaced. It was uncomfortable but not terribly so.
The staff were awesome. Very accommodating and helpful. The room was very clean and pleasantly decorated.

There was nothing to dislike about this property, it’s truly a hidden gem
This place is an absolute gem! The staff, the location, the amenities…everything was amazing and we’d come back to vacation here just because of Salt Air Inn!

Next to a busy road.
Room was clean and spacious. The Sandy beach area around the pool was a nice place to relax. A few minutes away is the beach bars and restaurants at Neptune beach. Everything is walkable. They allow use of their bikes and even provide access to Jax pier with complimentary fishing poles and bait.

The parking is pretty small but they makeup for it with the Mcdonalds area next door.
Josh was supper helpful and nice. The room was beautiful and very clean. I love the bikes they have on hand, we used them everyday and didnt really drive anywhere.

The bed was not very comfortable. While all the little freebies were awesome, I would encourage them to put more money into more comfortable mattresses. Parking was a little tricky but that's just the way it is at the beach.
I've stayed at various spots in Atlantic Beach while visiting my parents a few times each year. This was my first time to Salt Air, only a 5 minute walk from the beach. The room was sparkling clean, with great climate control and all the necessary amenities. Staff were very responsive and they even offer a free beer or bev of choice and little snacks.

Nice large room. Unfortunately room was on Atlantic Blvd. so very noisy with early morning traffic. Would recommend asking for a quieter room

The only criticism was the lack of storage. A chest of drawers would have been nice as there was nowhere to store a weeks worth of clothes .
The hospitality is amazing with free drinks and food available and Steve/Josh couldn’t do enough for me to ensure my stay was great.

There has nothing to do with the facility, but it rained on the weekend.
Staff was friendly and responsive to our needs. The room was very clean, and the bed was excellent to sleep on. Location was ideal for walking to shops, restaurants, pubs, and beach.
