There are few restrooms which is especially notable in the morning. The upper bed in bunk bed was a little difficult to get out from. A minor thing, provide a toilet brush so the guest can clean if he has done a mess with number two. That will make it nicer for the next guest

This is an excellent hostel. The environment is very good. I really enjoyed the breakfast and that there were both coffee and tea during the whole day. The kitchen is well equipped, the only thing that lacks is a proper owen (there are two micro). The storage box under the bed is excellent.

I loved everything about this place.

The kitchen was always spotless and breakfast was always different. There was always free food left by others which current guests could use.

Probably the best hostel if you're looking for Beach location. Everything was so well made and I met the greatest people there.

The room I stayed was too small for 6 beds, so If 2 of 6 girls were with the bags open, it would be difficult to walk in the bedroom. No shelfs and no locker for big bags, just small ones. Could have a curtain around the bed to give privacy and protect from light. Not all, but part of staff not very friendly. Also, I was working from my computer and couldn’t find a place outside my bedroom that was warm and slightly quiet.

Super clean, organized and I felt safe there . Super close to the beach and close to a target, another great grocery store almost in front and a great sushi near!

Very cool place for a trip to San Diego. Mega friendly and helpful staff. Room with private bathroom pleasant. Breakfast of coffee, tea, various oatmeal and fruit sufficient to start the day. Close to stores, delicious eateries and the ocean

In general the place could do with some cosmetic touch ups, especially in the bathrooms but kept fairly clean. Also my dorm had a strange smell (almost like garlic) but I think it was because my dorm window backed onto a restaurant nearby so not really the hotel's fault.

Great friendly staff that helped me when I was sick. Gave great recommendations and reception staffed 24 hours a day. Access only to guests with a key card but stored my luggage and let me use the shower in the afternoon before heading off to my next stop. Great location for the bus services and the beach. Nice area for socialising and chilling. Vending machine with drinks and essentials eg Toothbrush and paste etc which was a nice touch. The breakfast was also decent once I figured out where everything was, but kitchen was a bit cramped when I was busy.

Everything - my room was beautiful, the vibe was chilled, everything was really clean and lovingly maintained, the beach and nearest bus stop both only a few minutes’ walk away.

I generally enjoyed everything. Maybe the only thing that I missed was nicer common areas indoors since it rained for some of the days I was there and the indoor areas weren't very cozy.

The location was great, 3 min walk to the beach. The common areas and general vibe was also awesome, definetely what made the hostel so special.

The area is a bit out of the way but it’s definitely one of the best spots in San Diego so it’s worth it!

The beds were comfortable and the facilities were clean. Staff were very helpful and everyone staying there was friendly - it was easy to meet people as a solo traveller.
