I loved the attentiveness of the staff. The property was well maintained and clean and really loved the high ceilings in the rooms.. Plenty of good activities for kids and adults. My family and I had a blast.

All the gates you had to go through to get around the outdoor areas. The tub in my room was quite high to step over, and the shower wall had a little mold in the crack. I had city view, and it was rather noisy with traffic & music. Most nights it quit around 10pm so it didn’t keep me awake, but sitting on the balcony there was a lot of noise.

Beautiful hotel right on the beach. The lobby is gorgeous. The pool was wonderful. Good food options available.

Just on the beach had a small soft cooler with just water and were told to cover it and need water because one of the people have MS and needed to be hydrated at all times. Then there was someone playing rap music right in front of us and they didn’t say anything to them to shut it off. But other than that it was amazing

Nice place to get away but the extra charges for bech umbrella, parking and every little thing is a tad over kill. The room wasn't cheap. Resort fees nonsense, just charge enough for the room from the beginning and give the customer the choice but adding extra fees for things that should be taken care of in the cost of the room makes 4 star resort seem a tad bit ghetto in my opinion. Nickle and diming people after already charging 500-800 per night is just greedy for no reason..it's what's wrong with the world. Places like that and the people that own them , just down right greedy.

The staff at the Sandpearl was very genteel. It was old world elegance. The hotel was in the heart of the main section of the town. One night we went to the Opal Sands for dinner. It was far from everything, had more of a business hotel feel to it, seemed to lack personality, and the food was ok but the menu was very limited. The staff at the Sandpearl's restaurant remembered what we ate every single day we were there even if we did not dine two days in a row. When a cell phone was left at the table the staff personally found us in the hotel and delivered it to us. The Sandpearl's room was gorgeous. Ocean front is very expensive but is worth it if you can afford it.

Cons: There was construction going on over our room the last day which was really annoying. Lots of banging. The room itself was clean but seemed a bit dated, although the bathroom was recently renovated so it was nice and bright.

We stayed for 3 nights and loved the location. It's right on the beach which is gorgeous! Also enjoyed the pool and had had great service poolside with drinks and tasty food. You are within walking distance to everything you could need - bars, restaurants, drug store, even a liquor store. But it's easy to take an Uber or Lyft to go to places further out. The staff was great! The Nespresso machine in the room was nice!

Our room needed updated. The bathroom was new though.

Great location, private beach with chairs, lovely check in staff. Pool food was good. Great for kids. Mine loved the soccer they put on for them.
