We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomIn the first room, there was no fridge and no WiFi; and they were clearly having trouble with the cleaning staff because it wasn't as clean as it might be and another guest was asking for a room change because the bed linen in theirs was dirty.
We had problems. The host resolved them by moving us to a better room. The 2nd room was fine, but the whole place is a bit tired. I guess Motel 6 are sliding down the quality stack.

The location is great. Meow Wolf is 2 blocks away. It is on a main road so all of Abq is easily accessible. Dennys is across the street and walmart is around the corner. Even though next to road, it is still quiet.

HungaryIt was a disappointment. The room was clearly for a single traveller, not for a couple. Small unit, very small bed, only one chair, no socket at the writing desk, no fridge or hair dryer as in other motels, thin blanket and the room was cold. The location is also bad for those who want to visit the historic downtown, it is way out.

ChinaI booked on the app and was told that they didn’t receive the reservation, that I should wait two hours and come back to check, it was already 6pm 😏. I called the customer service in the App and was resolved within minutes. I had to ask for a receipt. The booking indicated bathtub but was only a shower. Water pressure was very slow. Room had a strong paint smell so we had to leave the door open for a while and wasn’t private nor comfortable as people walked past and were smoking so the room also filled with that smell. The floors were sticky. No water provided in the room… I feel that should be a necessity in every hotel! The swimming pool was closed… in Summer 🤷🏽♀️

United States of AmericaThe bathroom was pretty small and we could hear every noise outside from every guest. And the alarm kept going off even though my husband turned it off. I guess they do not reset/turn off alarms when they clean the rooms.
The room was pretty clean. The clerk warned us that there may be "tree bugs" in the room because of the trees at the back of the property and let us look at the room before we checked in. There were a few, but it appeared that they had recently sprayed. Was really appreciative that she let us look first.

United States of AmericaI don't really understand that we booked the room a few weeks in advance, checked in at 3:15 in afternoon ( I was told check in started at 3 pm) and the room hadn't been cleaned yet? We were not the only ones being told this at check in. I understand that many businesses have difficulty finding help, but when you have weeks of lead time to prepare? Something is wrong with the ventilation system in that room--cigarette smoke filtered into our bathroom from next door.
