Location, rooms were fine for what we needed and shuttle service was greatly appreciated.

I stayed at The Safe for a work trip, followed by a fun weekend with my husband. The hotel is in a great location. Plus, the shuttle service was great. The driver was friendly and offered great local suggestions. The pool area didn't look that appealing while we were there. I know it's off season; however, it got my attention.

The room was under a stairway where snow was stacked up making going in and out quite messy.

Unfortunately, we came so I could spend the next night in the hospital. The staff was very helpful to my husband, who was a little upset and having a very hard time finding his way around the city. There was a 6 inch snowfall the day of my surgery, and 4 more that night.

Morn Staff did not communicate with aft staff about shuttle pickup. This led to an uncomfortable exchange with front staff who did not understand pickup arrangements and didnt wsnt to communicate issues! Room had a leaky toilet and had to ask for toilet paper and extra coffee

Aside from the renovated elements, the room was a bit dated (particularly the bathroom) and the water did cut out at one point.

Breakfast should start at 6:00 not 7:00. The adjoining room door was not sound proof. We could hear the person coughing and talking clearly.

Not that Sages fault, but right before 7pm a car alarm was continually going off for 3-4 hours right in front of our room! The owner was genuinely apologetic m, and your staff very helpful in assisting the distressed car owner, so it was finally resolved. It’s all good!

The only thing we would say needs improvement are the bathrooms. They are really dated, the shower, sink and toilet. Besides that, the room was comfortable.

Location was great and we really appreciate the shuttle service you provided to the main city location. The man that drove us to the site was so friendly and informative. The staff at the front desk were friendly too.

The coffee in the room was a little strong and there wasn’t enough sugar. The particular room I was in was a bit worn looking and the lock on the window was loose.

Understand things happen but "gas leak" forced shut off of hot water heaters the morning I was looking forward to a hot shower before my day. Crazy staff person was using leaf blower until 9pm necessitating call to office for peace and quiet.

Bathroom is tiny. There was too much water coming from the shower head. Water level rose so fast in tub that I was limited to a very fast shower. Tub was so narrow that it made turning around unsafe.

Price seemed high for what it was - a renovated motel. Walls were thin and I heard every movement of the people in the room above mine.

Bathroom fan switch broke almost immediately. When it was fixed they broke the light switch next to it. Breakfast included no gluten free items except scrambled eggs, which got really boring after a couple of days, so I had to buy my own breakfast. Van shuttle to downtown was great except it didn’t show up one time and made us walk the mile from downtown. Room was adequate but on the small side with a huge king size bed, would have preferred a queen bed and another chair.

Central location. Next to a Whole Foods and a mile from downtown, across from the Railroad Yard farmers market. Staff was pleasant.
