Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.

The bathroom was cramped and the shower worn in appearance. But great water pressure. Many beautiful beaches are near by car.
Great pool area. Loved the 50's vibe and appreciate preserving this authentic vintage property. Room was a little small but clean and comfortable. Perfect for short stay. Great value! The king bed was comfy and TV and A/C worked great. Very good morning coffee in lobby. The location is very convenient to all Sarasota amenities. The Ringling Museum campus and Asolo Theatre are few blocks away. A "do not miss" attraction! However, the beaches are not walking distance. Sunnyside Cafe, 2 blocks away, was exceptional.

Couldn't buy Bahi Hut merchandise in the motel lobby :(
Pool was clean and warm. Room was spacious and bed very comfortable. Good water pressure and temperature in shower. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Our bedroom floor was dirty.
Great location to explore Sarasota. The room was adequate. The bed was very clean, and comfortable. It was a very quiet spot with nature nearby. Staff were welcoming. There was excellent communication by email as well.

There was no soundproofing, as they claimed. No privacy door hanger. No one attempted to clean the room nor offered to. Had to keep asking for clean towels.

The pool was not clean. A resort gives out towels for their pool. Not enough parking spaces.
Close to the airport and Ed Smith stadium. Not much else. I was tempted to change motels (NOT A RESORT as the name implies). Our window shook every time the AC came on. There was no place to hang wet towels or swim suits. The soap bars were the size of a silver dollar and so thin it didn't last Our stay. Our tiny, tiny room was close to the Tiki bar. Loud. Fun when you were in the bar. Drinks were extremely affordable and not watered down. Known for their Mai Tai.

A bit noisy on this main road, but not a deal breaker!
Lovely remodeled resort! Rooms clean, comfortable and well designed. Spacious with refrigerator, microwave and full sink. Enjoyed having a pool view and couch in room. Staff very helpful and friendly. Pool area was great! Shade and sun, tables and lounge chairs with outlets available for lap tops etc.

The room did have a kind of mildewy smell. My friend stayed in a different room though and there was no odor, so maybe it was just a fluke.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was cute.

Front reception was a little lacking however maybe was just a bad day.
The pool area and price are the real sellers to this location. Also, located perhaps 10 mins to the downtown of Sarasota. It is a dated property however very well maintained. The Tiki bar was a nice addition for a night cap and when we stayed there was a food truck there.

Only downside is there is no lift so if you have a room on the first floor you will have to carry your luggage up some stairs about 12 steps.
Great location for various attractions and sightseeing with very friendly and very helpful staff. It is a lovely place with lovely surroundings with a 1950/60's themed rooms, very clean and spacious.

Bed is really soft- I prefer firm so that was an adjustment. Also- make sure you schedule cleaning - we didn't and the room was never cleaned- which was ok really as we just slept there.
Very clean. Large rooms. Nice pool area. Local live entertainment and food truck. Everyone is very friendly. Quiet. Nice refrigerator and microwave in the room.

There is deposit of 100$ which you can get back after your stay.
