Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The beds are a little dated and could be upgraded.

Table and chairs, refrigerator/freezer and microwave were in the room. Hotel was across the road from the beach with easy access to the beach. Midweek to Saturday stay was quiet.

Everything was fine. Any questions I did have they had answers for me.
I liked the mom and pop feel of the A1A Super Inn. I miss those days of good people having there own place and taking good care of it and charging a fair price. Mike and his family do a nice job and I'm glad I stayed there and will in future. A comfortable bed and a small refrigerator and microwave in room. Everything felt safe here. Kudos to a job well done.

The toilet in our unit was really low for sitting and wobbled. There was no exhaust for the bathroom(a window in the shower was it). The carpeting could really use updating. There were two mystery doors in our unit. The price was out of line with the age of the property.
The pool area looked great. It was cold and rainy during our stay so looking is all we wanted to do. The room and property were exceptionally clean. The landscaping was beautiful. The curtains were of great quality and blocked out light well. The air/heating unit worked like a charm. The morning coffee was tasty. The bed was comfortable. The ocean was only a short walk away. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

Bathroom was extremely small and didn't look anything like the pictures on the website and had not been renovated at all. Room would have been great for 2 people sleeping in separate beds, but not 2 adults sleeping in one bed.
Room was very clean and quiet and looked like the carpet was fairly new. Employees were super nice.

Clean. Basic. As advertised I am a maintenance supervisor for a condo resort in another beach town. I see things others don’t , I see where the room was updated, but still had some things like the mattresses and furniture that are a little older, but still very usable/comfortable and in line with the price paid. Flashy and ultra modern it is not, I appreciate that everything worked, was clean, not just housekeeping clean but maintenance wise also. Nice TV with lots of channels. You get man working the front desk was great.

Pillows were very thin and when I asked for an extra pillow for me and my wife, she would only give me one and not two.
Although the place was older, the room was completely refreshed with new windows, carpet furniture, tiled floor in the bath and bath fixtures, plus fresh paint throughout.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here . This is an excellent location ...Right across from the beach so we could walk across the street from our room...Our room was clean..The bed was comfortable .. The bathroom was spotless with hot water and excellent pressure..WE enjoyed having use of the pool and they even had a washer and dryer onsite .. which are all very important to us..We would definitely stay here again ...

There were two beds in the room and the desk guy told me to only use one??? I guess they didn't want to change the bedding since I was only going to be there for like 12 hours. When I pulled the comforter back there was a long brown hair on the pillow, also the horizontal gap in the shower wall where the upper and lower pieces meet had moldy gunk in it all the way around, like not covered but enough to make me uncomfortable, the same pink moldy stuff was also on the showerhead. So I didn't really care for that.
The staff seemed nice enough just very watchful. The hotel was pretty clean though and the outside was very clean.

There was construction happening on the property during our stay so was a bit noisy in the mornings while we were trying to sleep and get ready.

Bed comfort could be better, but by far not the worst I have slept on.
Affordable, location, clean, friendly staff, pool, short walk to ocean. Convenient store near by that had good fresh food options.
