everything is right on the property. lots to do for kids. pool, playground, ping pong, volleyball, basketball, water sports, a cafe and bar, etc. we got the family suite so it was comfortable for a family of 5. staff was very nice. location is great. short walk to the village.

It was on a very steep hill. During our stay, the Wifi never worked. Each time that we asked, the office said that it would be fixed soon and that they would let us know, but it wasn't and they didn't.

It has all the facilities of a resort ... pool, splash pad, child's play area, beach chairs and games on a sandy beach, chairs arranged around firepits, etc. An nice area for families and friends. We were there off season, but we saw that they also had canoes and kayaks available to rent. We had a very pleasant experience in the snack bar, on their property. The personnel were friendly and helpful. The town was in close proximity. We walked into town.

Was not given any information on food available at the location, we found out afterwards. Also we were not given info to log onto wifi had to go back to office to ask for it.

The location was very good. Easy access to restaurants, beach, and other attractions.

The TV was a bit small for how far away it was from the bed. I had a hard time seeing the hockey game is was watching in the room.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The fire pits by the beach were such a great touch! It was so great to go sit by the water after a day of sight-seeing. I would stay here again for sure.

Saw some old used cups in our room, and littered small plastics which were really not a big deal for us. Probably the staff missed to thoroughly clean the entire room. Some services are unavailable, probably because it is off-season.

The lakeside view was awesome, the staff assigned us near the lake and it was good. They also allowed us to check in earlier and were able to accommodate my work. Check-out was also express since there were no staff in the morning. Overall, I would suggest with family and friends, especially for the winter holidays.

Only complaint I'd have was that the walls are thin and you can clearly hear what is going on in room next to you.

Location was great, amenities looked to be great for lots of fun during the summer season.

My only issue that I think people should know is that the bathrooms are loud. Every time the rooms on either side of us flushed their toilet we knew it. It may bother some people more than it did us. But we will definitely revisit Scotty's.

We stayed in 2 different rooms..the first was clearly remodeled, great bath. The 2nd needed a bathroom update but was clean. Also the bar wasn't opened daily but it was after labor day, but the car show was in town and the hotel booked out with mostly adults. Perhaps they could keep beach bar open for those days.

Loved the amenities..beautiful flat clean beach, spacious clean pool, arcade, cafe and beach bar accommodated most of our needs. Although no daily housekeeping we were offered fresh towels by the housekeeper.

Mattresses could be a lot softer

Staff was excellent, friendly and helpful. The room was a great size and clean. The beach area, bar/cafe was inviting, clean, and relaxing!

Outlets in room were worn so plugs would not stay plugged in. Minor detail but frustrating when you expect your phone to charge or trying to dry your hair and the plug falls out.

Room was updated and very clean. Staff were very friendly. Property well maintained. Amenities were great. Cafe food was good, arcade was fun, bar was very nice. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pits near the lake.

Maybe have the bar open a little later but I know it is the end of the season.

I was upgraded to a 2 bedroom with a nice sitting area, close to the water. The fire pits were great and it was nice to have the cafe open. The bar was opened on the weekend too. This is my new go to place in LG.

The room did not feel level. The bathroom door was sticking.

The personnel at the front desk were lovely. They were so kind and welcoming. They even gave us an upgraded room so we were closer to the lake for no charge. The rooms were nice and very clean. The bathroom was updated. The hotel has a beautiful private beach, boat docks, gas fire pits, heated pool, game room, lighted playground, corn hole pits, bar, snack area and the location was perfect to walk to town. Perfect place for family with young children.
