Everything met my expectation or exceeded them.

Breakfast was simple but delicious. There was a variety of food and drinks, coffee was amazing. The office guy was very friendly and helpful.

Beds were a little too firm for my husband and I, were side sleepers and it made our hips ache by morning, but they were comfy enough when on our backs. Cell service is limited and wifi seemed a little bit spotty at times.

Room was very clean, staff was super nice. Grounds are pretty and well groomed. Beautiful views and close to Mendocino and Fort Bragg and several beautiful beaches (all within a less than 15 min drive)

There were insects in our room. Spiders, ants and other bugs. I suppose it’s normal for bugs to be in a woodsy location, but a good spray would help prevent them from getting into the room and our suitcases. (On one of the days we found a huge spider on a hanging shirt). Coffeemaker didn’t work. We were looking forward to drinking coffee on the patio in the morning but the machine didn’t work.

The location is beautiful! Great WiFi and satellite tv worked great. It was quiet and view was gorgeous.

Breakfast could have been offered earlier, however hotel was very accommodating allowing us to grab breakfast a bit before the official opening time.

The room had been recently renovated and bed was very comfortable. We also appreciated the upgrade to a king sized bed.

There was nothing that I didn't like. Everyone I met at front office was very courteous and friendly.

The breakfast was very good I love bagels and cream cheese great coffee and the people up front were great and house keeping persons did wonderful job. I will be back soon. Thank you

The Inn is very close to downtown area and Headlands and Big River Beach. The staff at this place is wonderful. The property is very well maintained and they welcome our pets whio are a family. We simply loved our stay.

Only had a two night stay.

Sweet spot on the coast. Nothing fancy, but clean comfortable and well appointed. Staff were courteous and very professional. Coffee in the am was excellent. All in all compared to the majority of accommodation in the area, lacked the overpriced pretentious and fake charm and offered instead good clean, comfortable, and affordable lodging .Thank you.

The heater kept going on and off and was loud. It woke me up multiple times in the night. If you are a light sleeper, you won’t be able to sleep. I wasn’t. Which is a shame, as it really was almost perfect and a terrific price. Bring earplugs! The internet and TV can be wonky, but honestly, most of the drive we didn’t have any cell reception so I don’t blame them.

The hosts were amazing. They were kind and lovely. They provided a pet package with a little toy and treats to keep, as well as a blanket and bowl for the visit. They make you and your best friend welcome. The place is gorgeous, up on a hill, and every room can see the sea. Each room has a little patio so you can watch the sunrise. They offer many room amenities, such as a microwave and small fridge. They have a typical continental breakfast, but the coffee in the room and reception is real coffee— good and strong! The beds were comfortable and the mattresses and bedding were great. The location is really perfect for the coast, a short drive to Mendocino, Fort Bragg as well as Elk and Albion, a tiny bit further to Point Area (which has great fish and chips down by the dock.) tons of beaches, as well as a small hidden one— just ask the owners. Almost perfect!

Not a big deal, but the Internet connection was clunky and the TV had no cable reception, which we could sort out by plugging a USB drive.
