Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaNot that I did not like this but, if you plan on sharing a room with someone else, make sure you are very comfortable with them. The bathroom/shower are very nice, not as much privacy.
The breakfast buffet was amazing, best I have ever had staying at a hotel, definitely recommend trying it out. Loved how much high tech this place is, getting to control the room settings from an IPAD. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Location is amazing, it is close to attractions. Would definitely stay here again, recommend trying it out.

ItalyThe Pioneer Square area can be a bit sketchy with some weird people... However, it's some hundred meters away from the hotel and it felt a bit weird only at the arrival (I took the Pioneer Square stop of the light rail). During the other days (I stayed one week) I simply avoided that area and everything was fine. The block of the hotel by itself is nice as well as the waterfront area and I never felt unsafe. So the "bad point" is not really about the hotel, it is most of all concerning Pioneer Square station. And also it is a problem shared by several Seattle zones so in conclusion I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Despite being small, the room is well equipped so everything fits in without a struggle. Every piece of furniture is new and most of all very clean (I have some allergies but I was never sick in the hotel - meaning it was really clean). I appreciated the control system with the iPad to control the lights and the curtains/blinds. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The breakfast is varied and of good quality. The view on the waterfront is nice and the waterfront itself is a nice area to walk or to go running. The design of the hotel is also cool with cool common areas.

United States of AmericaCheck-in was all done with the machine, so there was no human interaction was needed unless I needed a help. It can be quick and easy, but I felt like something was missing (traditional hospitality greetings). I can imagine that if you are not good with modern technology, you might struggle to use some of the functions at the hotel or your room (all control is with iPad).
The location was a little far from the main attraction (such as Pike Place Market, Space Needle), but it was quieter at night and still safe to walk around. Right in front of the ferry terminal, so easy access to a day trip to nearby islands. The hotel and room were sparklingly clean and modern. Nice view if you stay with an ocean view.

United States of AmericaBy the time we arrived, most dining spots were closed. However the staff were gracious to print out a dining list with establishments and operating hours. Like that touch! Thought I may have lost my sunglasses at the front desk during check in, called the hotel after we departed and they were gracious in checking up on it.
Just an excellent location! Have stayed there often.
