Booking said breakfast available but it’s not We booked a room with bunks because the children are too old to share but were given a duplex with 2 double beds and a late night theatre show outside. My son slept in the sofa. In the plus side the staff were able to find him a sheet and blanket

Kitchen is extremely dirty. I checked out a and delivered the keys to the receptionist however they called me to tell me I didn’t do that, I guess the receptionist completely forgot about me checking out.

Sooo much noise from traffic, bridge and airplanes close in the sky makes it very noisy and a terrible sleep. Terrible and unsafe electrical outlets and slower sources not secure in the wall. Not entirely great and thorough cleaning either. Hairs found throughout the bathroom not of my own. Cleaning staff didn’t knock and tried to barge in my room, then shouted in the room that I was supposed to be checked out a half hour ago, but the reception said the day before that they authorized a 12pm check out. I was so incredibly uncomfortable. Had the deadbolt not been on, the cleaning lady who spoke rudely would have seen me changing. Awkward. Pool inviting but not regularly cleaned. Didn’t clean the pool enough to want to put my head in.

The rooms are cute and spacious. The cottage looks are lovely throughout and it feels like a little community. The grounds are wonderful and feel peaceful.

Room and bathroom was very dirty. I felt like the room was not ready at all. Bedroom sheets had red strains, bathroom floor was all covered with hairs. I even found hair comb behind the toilet. We asked staff to clean up the room throughly again and they did, but the room conditions didn’t get any better. Also the room and the building was very different from the pictures on website. Overall satisfying, but it could be better in terms of the basic hospitality as a hotel.

We had light fixture issues that never got fixed, we asked for more supplies ( for example toilet paper, paper towels, and regular towels.) and were told to find housekeeping( which we never saw once) for more supplies. And for a 2 bedroom apartment we had 1 plate, 2 forks and 3 knives in the kitchen. We also would have liked if the listing had said the apartments were duplexes and on the second floor. My father has had knee replacement surgery and it would have been good to know he needed to walk up 3 flights of stairs just to sleep.

We loved the location to little Havana, South Beach and other areas of Miami.

There’s a train that passes throughout the night and made the whole bedroom tremble. Also there is a bell that I believe is the bridge’s alarm, that sounds a few times every hour, all the time.

Front desk offered me help ordering taxi to the airport. I have accepted the offer, and wait for the taxi instead of ordering an Uber. When it has arrived, the driver came in, gave a tip to the front desk, and took me to the car. Then I have realized that she ordered for me a deluxe car costs more than my night stay at the place, and more than x3 times than Uber. This is not a luxury hotel, it is a place for people traveling on a budget!

For this to be part of the Selina hostel brand it falls all the way short on the offerings. Selina is known for being a place to meeting new people, mingling, a beautiful space, food and drink options are available. This just isn’t the case for this one, it’s nothing like Selina’s other hostels. The common areas were not utilized by hardly any other guests while I was there. The effort to make this Selina a ‘happening spot’ is there, i mean it’s so beautiful, but maybe the brand just doesn’t work in the states as the hostel culture is not very present.

The property is beautiful and they have certainly invested well into the landscaping and charm of the place, it’s classic Miami which is cute.

This place is like a peaceful & serene little slice of heaven. Hidden right there, in the midst of downtown Miami! I've lived in this city for nearly 23 years. I had no idea this place even existed.

The location wasn't great - nothing was very walkable and it was a little hard for our Uber to find. Not a huge issue if you have your own car there.

the location was great for my plans for weekend, that is why I choose it. I just need a place to sleep over night and so I chose a room in a nice building. Unforturnatly sharing a bathroom means someone may not flush the toilet or clean it after a bowel movement. No supplies to clean the bathroom in between guest. I did not bath myself because of that. My small room was too cold by air conditioning. Thank you for earplugs. They were needed

Despite being downtown, after 9:00 p.m. it's such a pain in the butt to find a store that's open ! However, delivery is always an option.

Beautifully kept hidden gem right here in downtown Miami! Pleasant & helpful staff, clean & comfy rooms, plus all ur basic amenities- pool, snacks, morning yoga instruction, etc.

Hours for bar & restaurant were inconsistent. Bathroom was dirty (but could have been other residents not picking up after themselves). Dirty pan left in oven and grease spill in bottom of oven making it unusable.

Staff was friendly. Pool & grounds were beautiful. Beds were comfortable and rooms were cute. Be prepared to walk 1-1.5 miles to a restaurant. Other people staying were super nice. Good vibe. Whole property gated & secure.

We stayed for a couple of days at the Selina Miami River and had a lovely time: The property of the Hotel consists of beautiful little charming houses in pastel colors - so cute! Our hotel room was clean, our beds were comfortable and the stuff was very friendly. We would definitely consider booking another stay at Selina Miami River :)
