Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyThe room was minimalistic. It was loud during the night (the window did not insulate well from the outside noises).
The room was very clean and the lobby was very spacious and well decorated.

New ZealandThe hotel itself was great. Only issue I had was getting any kind of service at the rooftop restaurant. Left after 20 minutes of trying and walked to the markets. The markets are great.
Room was very clean and comfortable

United States of AmericaInterior rooms look into other rooms and just make me uncomfortable having the blinds open, so I'm in a small/dark room by myself the entire time. Lack of carpeting or any noise dampening at all make echos from walking, dropping phones, or even another guest clearing their throat echo throughout the building endlessly.

United KingdomCable connection for TV wasn't great. Not that we watched TV much .. just on waking and getting ready for the day. There was a strong smell of weed, which we think was coming into room via ait conditioning. It's the smell we don't like over the smoking of it.
Very good customer service, manhattan views from room, food good and I liked the industrial chic vibe of the place.

Czech RepublicCar and train noise from the adjacent main street and train line. The hotel has only single glass in the windows and the sound insulation is insufficient. Every car and train that passes by the hotel building can be heard in the room. Fortunately, it is possible to ask for earplugs at the hotel reception, which they will give you for free.
Nice accommodation with nice people at a reasonable price.

United States of AmericaWe stayed on the 3rd floor and our room backed up to a main road and train exchange. It got loud, but not too bad at night. The wifi isn't ideal. Works great in the lobby, but our phones wouldn't stay connected in the room. Lastly for my girlies with curly hair, this is not a hair shower. There is pressure, but not much.
The place is really cute and exactly as pictured. We were about 7 minute walking distance from a subway station. During the day hours there are restaurants also within walking distance.

United States of AmericaWished the rooms had AT LEAST a mini ridge. I know there is a microwave at the café area, but it would be more convenient to have one in the rooms as well. The café menu was overpriced while the food was not that good. The entrance was also was difficult to find when trying to check-in and kept being dropped off at the hotel next door when using Uber.
For the cost compared to the surrounding hotels, it was reasonably priced. The room was small, but comfortable to sleep in for the night. The atmosphere and rooftop bar was a plus!

United States of AmericaBooking for a queen size bed and getting a much smaller one. I would have still choose a full if queen was sold out or I would have paid a little more If reasonable to accommodate our need.
This was a cute boutique hotel.. I choose to up grade to s standard Queen room, but what I got was a full bed. It was clean and comfortable but not what l paid for as my roommate was tall and we wanted the space. The price for the area was very reasonable ,but parking was full so we had to find some place nearby on the street. Great staff though and would recommend and visit again. So thats why its 4 of 5 stars.

United States of AmericaHard to find, no sign, weird parking situation. No common amenities like an ice machine (we had to ask at the bar upstairs) or hair dryer. (No coffee machines either, but that's not our thing.)
Beautiful and modern, feels trendy and the decor is great. Rooms are big, soundproof, small floors with lounges, rooftop bar looks cool, beautiful lobby with coffee shop, snacks. Central courtyard, lots of art and murals.

United States of AmericaFront desk person was nice but not so helpful when I asked about parking options near hotel. Front desk staff should be knowledgeable about this since parking is a nightmare in DC. Also, although i liked the esthetic of the room, i wished I had curtains over the windows. It was too bright in the morning for those who stayed out late at Echostage Thursday night. 😴😵💫
