Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

First time with negative comments. TV didn’t work all weekend and staff was basically like “oh well, we’re having issue”. Bathroom needed a good cleaning and the elevator is one of the slowest I’ve ever used. Was unhappy with staff’s overall attitude, which is sad because we’ve always had such a great experience and have introduced countless friends to the hotel.

It was fun to be smack dab in the middle of Seneca Falls with lots of restaurants and interesting sights in walking distance. The bar was fun on a Saturday night. Live music and lively scene.

Other reviews mentioned how nice and renovated this hotel was, but I feel that wasn't the case for us. The bedroom was fairly small, you can hear slightly in other rooms and the carpet probably is slightly old. I have allergies that only play up when it's pretty bad, and sadly it was in this room.

Not the hotel's fault, but very little acoustic insulation. Noise Traveled from room to room and floor to floor. Overall, it was a very good experience and I would stay again and recommend to stay there.

Bed and pillows not very comfortable. Restaurant and bar closed by 10 on a Saturday night. Recent snow storm and single, partially shoveled path to entrance- very slippery.
Close to the casino and in the center of little business district. Front desk personnel were exceptionally friendly.

Rude desk clerk in the morning who questioned my friend when she asked for a bath towel. We had a room for 2 and only provided one bath towel. Also water pressure in shower was not much more than a trickle. No warm food breakfast options.
Bed and pillows amazing! Dinner at the restaurant fantastic! Location to casino.

Only a small dislike for the beds which we found to be quite hard.
Great location and parking. The onsite restaurant is a nice dining option, staff all around was exceptional. Super clean, we love the boutique hotel look.

Could use more water pressure in the shower, but it still was nice and warm. Suggest a way to keep freezer packs frozen. Although the rooms were a little small according to some reveiwers, they are still larger than some places you see in Europe.
Close to the wineries in the Finger Lakes and many eateries. Staff were very helpful and pleasant folks. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The restaurant had good dinner selections and the accordian music was pefect for listening and dining.

We did not have room service for our 2 night stay and the breakfast had limited options.
We enjoyed our 2 night stay at this quaint, updated historic hotel conveniently located in downtown Seneca Falls and a short walking distance to many of the towns attractions and local restaurants. Though the room was a little small it was very clean with a comfortable queen size bed and updated modern decor. Hotel had a complimentary continental breakfast which was okay for a quick bite to start our day but also had a full restaurant and bar open in the evenings with good food, drinks and service and entertainment on the weekends.

Restaurant only open from 5-9pm. Had to go elsewhere for lunch and late night dinner
