Way to much noise. Definitely need to retro fit the walls with insulation to soundproof the rooms more.

It was great as a whole.

Because it’s located on a busy street, traffic was kind of loud; but it didn’t keep me awake or anything.. Mainly was loud in the morning..

Super nice staff, great price, cool hotel— love the architecture and history.

The rooms are lit with “1000-watt” cool white fluorescent bulbs - they could be toned down to a warm white with a little less wattage and not only would they not hurt your eyes, they would make the room look better. There was one chair - an executive type office chair with torn vinyl arms. A nice side chair would easily fit in the same space. The rooms do not reflect the same charm as the common areas - a lot could be done with a few small changes. “Breakfast” consisted of fig bars and packaged donuts and coffee. There was a great cafe a block away for breakfast. The only other complaint is the ironing board on the back of the closet door. Every time we opened the door, it banged against the door. Not a big deal, and we didn’t realize how much we go in and out of the closet except for the racket the ironing board made. The room door, bathroom door and closet door are all in close proximity and none can be open or opened if any of the other two are open. It can’t be fixed, but it is awkward.

The historic building is gorgeous. The common areas are beautiful and we appreciated the covered parking. The room has a spacious shower. Price was in line with the room amenities.

Well, there was no restaurant facility or breakfast other than a sweet roll with coffee ( good coffee :) ) The bar was only open Thur, Fri and Sat evenings ... we stayed Sat thru Wed so had but one evening there.

This is an Historic hotel, built in 1929, in what may be described as an 'Art Deco' style ... very beautiful lobby The rooms were wonderful; clean and well appointed. The Hotel has covered garage parking as well as a parking lot; an elevator makes moving luggage to the rooms very workable. The desk is manned 24-7 if there is a need or question; the Hotel has a cute well stocked bar available Thur, Fri and Saturday evenings.

I would have picked a different room. When the management let us know we had an interior room and could change it to another, I didn't realize the room would be so small and no window. Regardless the bed was comfortable and we there only for one night. The restaurant wasn't open during the midweek but receptionist recommended another restaurant in town. Plenty of parking.

I like older and restored hotels and this had a beautiful lobby.

There are always some little quirks with older places, but nothing that I haven't seen anywhere else. The street lights were a little bright, but not enough to cause any issues.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was nice change to stay in a historical hotel one night after staying in a "modern" hotel that cost twice as much. Very affordable and comfortable.

Not a lot of electrical outlets. Bed was a little squeaky. The shade didnt cover the window real well so bright light from the parking kept the room a little bright for sleep. These were pretty minor issues offered for some constructive (actionable) feedback.

I liked the vibe of the old hotel. I love historical stuff and this hotel had a very nostalgic atmosphere with very clean rooms and a super friendly staff. I stayed prior to riding my motorcycle in arkansas the next day and was a great place to hold up for the night.

When I booked the room, it made no mention of the couch being a hide-a-bed that could easily sleep two more people. It was described as being a room for two instead of four. It worked out perfect for our family, but it would have been nice if the listing on booking.com would have been more accurate.

The hotel is beautiful and I loved the historic charm of it. The room was spacious and I loved that there was a living area separate from the bedroom. I loved the counter with microwave and sink as well.

I was disappointed to find that the "buffalo River King suite with balcony" was in a wing of the hotel constructed in the 70's. The mini-split A/C units needed cleaning and one of them was quite noisy. The bathrooms look to have been remodeled in the mid to late 90's... too bad some of the historic character has not been maintained, that or having them be fully modernized would have been better. The restaurant and bar, which had good reviews, were not open on a Friday evening.

Amazing historic hotel in the heart of downtown Harrison. The Building exterior and lobby have been wonderfully kept up in what appears to be their original condition. The staff was very helpful and friendly, appears to be a family run endeavor.
