A cheap quality hotel at Alaska summer prices. No coffee in the room. Basically a clean place to stay.

Place was rather run down. First room had no screen in door and was very warm.

Staff was great. Close by to walk to certain areas and pick up the shuttle bus.

Spartan. One of the lamps by the bed had no outlet to be plugged in. Bottom dresser drawers were stuck and unusable. Wall patched in a different color.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. The facility is clean, quiet, and comfortable. The inn is old and basic and our rooms were small, but good value. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again…and there is a newer section with a water view that was already booked.

Smell is musty, could’ve been cleaner. Could use new comforter, new carpet tiles, etc. WiFi spotty.

Location is fantastic. Easy to walk to both parts of Seward that have shops, restaurants, tour groups, etc. office manager was friendly and available.

It’s broken ice machine, broken coffee maker, old mattresses with springs poking out covered by a 4 inch piece of foam kind of place. They couldn’t even make a lid fit a cup in the office, and no one ever around to address these things. But, at least it’s in Seward, Alaska right? The only reason to stay there and they know it.

The Property was not maintained adequately. There were light bulbs not working in the bathroom vanity and exposed wiring in the ceiling. Upon arrival the patio door was unlocked.

The bathroom door would not close at all. …..the shower I took would go from very very hot water to ice cold water- I believe I screamed a couple times ! The tv kept buffering - I could not watch a program w/o it buffering several times - I also think the parking spaces should be numbered to match your room number so as another “guest “ cannot park in front of your room and start their loud vehicle in the early a.m. and rudely awaken you-

The location, also, I find motels very charming. I am not a snobby city girl who needs all the amenities - basic is fine with me. Having said that - read what I didn’t like.

They could have some arrangement with the Free Shuttle from and to the Railroad Depot. Also, with the Railroad to carry luggage directly to Murphy's.

Started out in the OLDER single story units. Very cramped for space. End table about to fall apart. Towel rack falling down. 1- 50 gal. Hot water heater for 5 hotel rooms !! It broke down and we were without hot water. Only enough hot water for 2 showers out of 5 hotel rooms. We made them move us to the slightly newer 1980's 2 story building. Staff mostly foreign and hard to understand. Small TV's with very limited service. You had to provide your own netflix, hulu, or whatever streaming you have an account with to watch any decent movies etc. ??? Room refrigerator was the smallest made. No thermostat and all liquids would freeze. No working Ice machine on site. Staff said they would supply us ice from their personal fridge. They gave use 4 ice cubes from an old style single ice cube tray 1960's erra...

Close to restaurants and down town. The 2 story building had good boiler heated hot water.

We were in the old motel, a tiny room with a worn out mattress, just one chair with barely room to sit. The newer rooms in the building next door might be nice, but we paid top dollar for the bottom rung.

No breakfast. A Keurig in the lobby might work.
