The yard isn't fenced all the way, which was okay for us (our dogs are off leash trained) but if you're bringing pups or small children, just be aware that they can easily get out if left unsupervised. It's a duplex with a tenant downstairs, not the whole house. Again, not a problem for us, but if you're looking for complete privacy and full access to amenities (no laundry, thin walls), that is just something of which to be aware. We were worried that we'd be a bother to the downstairs tenant who kept a late schedule because we were early risers with big dogs. If you're planning on doing your own cooking, bring your own pots and pans. We ended up buying a couple pans (saute pan and colander) and left it there for the hosts so other guests could use them. Again, not a major issue, just something to bear in mind. Maybe needs an outdoor trash receptacle to place dog waste in so people will be more inclined to pick up after their pups?

The location is perfect for accessing local events and amenities--we were there for some off-roading, hiking, and to experience Utah at its best. It's right off one of the main thoroughfares so it's easy to get to and not too far from restaurants, stores, and local state parks. The location was quiet and set in beautiful scenery. We loved that it's on a farm. The cows and chickens were active, well-socialized, and seemed very well cared for. Reminded us of home! The hosts were exceptionally sweet, responsive, and unobtrusive. Amenities in the home were decent (stove, full sized fridge, coffee maker, utensils, etc) and the place was very clean and thoughtfully decorated. The back porch offered a serene place to enjoy coffee or drinks while soaking in the beautiful mountain scenery. The sunset views were spectacular! We heard coyotes chatting almost every night. The yard was large enough for our shepherds to run around and burn off some energy with games of fetch. There is a play set so kids can enjoy the yard too. There was plenty of parking space where you can fit three full-sized vehicles and the house is easily accessed from the driveway.

Nothing we didn’t like, but I would love to see a little book with information about the house like the wifi password etc.

Super comfy beds, lovely and clean house. Lots of room for our family and the kids loved the chickens. Well stocked kitchen with everything we needed to make meals for ourselves.

    Nothing!

This home is immaculate and lovely. They have thought of so many details to ensure the home is comfortable. The views are stunning. The cows and chickens in the pasture and the small playground were a huge bonus for us! The queen bed I slept in was heavenly. I loved the bed linens. I was very cozy and slept wonderfully.

We had asked for a check-in around 5pm. We were without answer from the owner until about 6:15 where she told us the house wasn’t ready yet. Very unpleasant way to start off the stay.

Owner was quick to respond after the check in. Lovely location, beautiful view in the backyard. The house was clean and we felt just like at home.

Did not expect or was notified there would be someone staying or living in the basement. The walls were thin and not soundproof. Could smell smoke. Nowhere that I could find does it list there might be another occupant in the same house.

Location was perfect. House was clean and had everything we needed. Parking area was located right next to house.

We stayed for 2 nights and never could get the air conditioner to work properly. It was over 90 degrees both days so the house really heated up in the afternoon. It worked in the beginning but poorly. I did contact the owner the 1st night and we tried a few different things but with no success. He did offer to call around and see if he could get an HVAC company to come out on the weekend. By the afternoon of the 2nd day it quit blowing any cold air at all and the house heated up to 87 degrees. I did contact the owner again that afternoon but never heard back. At 11pm the house was 84 degrees and unbearable to sleep. We tried opening up the windows. About 1/2 the windows in the home don't open at all. The window in each bedroom that would open did not have a screen so bugs were coming in. Likewise no screen on the sliding door out to the deck, etc. Its in a rural area so opening windows without screens was just letting bugs in. No place to put trash. There are 2 trash cans on the property but both were overflowing. Trash bags were stacked up on the patio below the deck. This is not a single family home. It's a duplex and someone lives downstairs. At 10pm the 1st night the downstairs occupant cooked something that smelled really strong and the unpleasant odor filled the entire upstairs. We found several dying cockroaches in the kitchen and dining room area. The kitchen could use a few more cooking utensils. I was also under the impression that a grill or bbq was available for cooking.

The location was perfect and only 5 minutes from the event I was in Southern Utah for. The house is older but has been updated and is furnished nicely. The beds/pillows were comfortable. We brought our 2 little dogs and having the big yard was great. My grandaughter really enjoyed feeding the chickens. The deck was nice to hang out on and had a really nice view.
