It’s Russian Roulette with what accommodations they assign you. All villas are not created equal. I’ve stayed in everything from the presidential suite, which is luxurious, to what resembles the Bates Motel from the 80’s. But I’ve enjoyed every stay for what it was, a quick getaway.

The Shawnee property is great for families. Lots of things to do.

Checking in was dicey. After traveling almost 3 hours to get there I was flooded with anxiety thinking that we couldn't get our reservation we made on booking.com and paid for half of. We were locked out of our room at one point also. These were the only small inconveniences we had. Von at the front counter was the man an awesome worker. He made it his mission to help us and did it so quickly and kindly. We appreciate him on this trip.

We loved all of the amenities. Your staff at the front specifically Von was the best. We had a couple small issues while checking in and getting locked out of our room later on and Von was there to quickly help with everything. Great worker you have! This gentleman helped us with multiple times and didn't outstanding job coming our nerves and getting the problem fixed quickly.

I loved the suite! I liked the pool and hot tub but because of a 4-5 hour power outage I couldn’t enjoy them to the fullest. Also, at check in they didn’t even have my reservation!

The locker shower rooms for the pool were pretty dirty all the time 😔. I never wanted to use them while there. Hair and toilet paper with shower water all over.

Loved the Villa we stayed in ! River was right behind us ! Peaceful and great size place! Beautiful kitchen and wrap around porch. Beds were extremely comfortable. My five year old loved the indoor pool ! Nice game room

Resort has some older villas that are really outdated and uncomfortable, which where we were placed first . I had to call the front desk and request better accommodations, which they tried not to move us to but eventually did. The second villa was off-site but was much better and a little more updated. The resort can use some updates but was great for the cost

Timer on fireplace- kept having to get up and turn it back on while trying to relax. I understand the purpose of it, but maybe give a little more time. It didn’t even get a chance to warm the room at all.

The walkway to our unit was not shoveled, and we had to walk in 10 inches of snow. This was resolved after the first night, but it made moving in difficult.

Condo was very private and cozy. Had all listened amenities. Decor was a little dated but clean nonetheless.

We felt forced to participate in the timeshare demo. We were fold that we must give a Credit Card to authorize and accept an appointment for the timeshare demo. We asked if it was a requirement to stay and were told, "yes". We canceled the appointment and I am will be checking the Credit Card statement to make sure the funds were returned. There is a zero percent chance of us buying a timeshare or membership. Other than that, it is very nice.

Property location is great, close to the shopping mall, Ski resorts and Big Pocono state Park. Staff is very friendly, spacious units, very clean, I would definitely recommend for a romantic stay or with kids.

I did not like that the garbage containers were always full and I had to keep my garbage bags outside on the porch.

I enjoyed that there were spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. The tranquility and peaceful scenery was enjoyable. The full kitchen was a big plus.

This was not the first time that we have stayed here as we like it here. I believe it was the 4th or 5th stay here. This time there were a few small inconveniences but nothing that make me not recommend for others to stay here. Normally all kitchenware is there for you, this time no lids for pans so made it difficult to make some food items, missing some normal utensils,. Purchased fire logs and brought with us as the rooms have a fireplace and advertised as so, however once we arrived they were all out of service until next update,. The mattress in the main room which is a queen-size was in need of being replaced as it felt as it formed a V in the middle when we both got into bed. We could have used the other room which has 2 full beds and they were fine. Stay was still nice and enjoyable and would definitely stay there again and would recommend for sure.

That the place is basically a town house with the feeling of being home, very spacious, good location and pretty much the same price per night as a mid grade hotel.
