When I first saw the cost of this facility I didn't believe it. I thought there was no way that you get a house for the cost that they were offering it at but I decided to book anyway. When we arrived I loved the contactless checking process it was so easy and the place was absolutely gorgeous and you do get the entire house. It made us decide to book for the other day because we could afford to. I can't believe I stayed in Ocean Shores as many times as I haven't did not know this place existed I will never stay anywhere else.

We are senior citizens, so not having a bathroom on the second floor with the bedrooms and navigating the spiral staircase was slightly less than ideal. Actually, we loved the spiral staircase, just had to be very careful on it.

There was no breakfast, only coffee. Location was fine. Enjoyed the castle like decor. It was the first night after our 3pm wedding and a surprise for my husband. Took lots of pictures. Enjoyed the books that explained more about the period.

Nothing to complain about! there was conditioner in the body wash bottle, but that was hardly a problem!

Kids loved the Pirate theme, which is just what we wanted.

The awkward placement of sofa and table. Made it difficult to visit and watch movies together.

The beds were a bit uncomfortable and the kitchen/bathroom could use an upgrade, but everything was clean. Some laundry options would be nice for a family of five.

The kids loved the theme of the villa. The location was an easy walk to the beach. There was plenty of room for everyone. It was very clean. The details of the theme were fun. A small, cozy family feel for the property.

I am tall person, so I kept bumping my head on the ceiling. A lot stuff was pretty old, and I had to fix one of the outside toys, so that the kids could play on it.

We absolutely loved the Egyptian decor! The unit was clean and spacious. It was great to be able to simply punch in the code, pull out the key, and walk right in, without having to deal with a front desk check-in. The place is kid friendly with board games, DVDs, and outside toys. We even got to make s’mores around the fire pit!

The medieval decor in #4 was fantastic.. Very well thought out and unique place to stay.. Won't forget our stay here.. Appreciated just asking us to do only the dishes before departure..

All the dog poop in the kids play area. I bring my 1 year old to explore and she really could not because of the dog poop everywhere

the cable on the TV wasn’t working, but everything else was amazing!!

I loved how cozy it felt! All the other guests were extremely nice too! there was plenty of space and toys for the kids to play with as well! Absolutely a must go!

Nothing not to like

Everything was amazing, from the moment we got there. We chose the medieval theme, because our 9 yr old daughter is obsessed with dragons. I've never seen her so excited to stay anywhere. This was a much needed vacation for us & shorebirds villa exceeded our expectations. Everything was super clean, the spiral staircase was so cool & there was dragons everywhere. Our daughter even went around naming them. We loved the privacy, not having to walk through a lobby anytime you want to go outside, like a hotel. The staff we did see while there was super friendly. Plus it's close enough to walk to the beach & food. We got super close to a cpl deer on our walk back, they'll let you walk right up to them at ocean shores. The only part that sucked was that the trip ended, we really wanted to stay much longer, but such is life. We will definitely be back & already trying to decide which theme to try out next time.

The details put into the room theme, the homey welcoming feeling, the kindness of others around us, the amount of kid friendly activities while still maintaining an adult friendly environment. A friend and I booked a set of the duplexes together with our kids, but I come from a family of 6 kids and we have already discussed renting out all 6 units with our families the next time my out of state sister is in town.

Everything was wonderful

The whole ambiance was fantastic. We stayed in the pirate villa and my granddaughter was in love with everything except the skeleton in the closet. She named him Tim.

I wished the batteries were replaced in the electric votive candles as well as the little lantern in the closet.

I liked the location being in the middle of the business corridor and proximity to the beach. I appreciated the themed decor. It made for a unique experience!
