Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The only thing that I disliked was that the bathroom in the first room doorknob fell off. I'm just glad that I wasn't in the bathroom when it happened. But the staff gave us a different room.
I like the room. It was very cute and comfortable. The little sofa was just as good. I took a nap there, so quickly.

The places to eat at the hotel are terrible, tho. It's not worth the money. They were all old, but nothing has been done to upgrade those places. Went on the boardwalk to some place else to eat. Maybe once the Waterpark is open and creating revenue that will change.
The room was amazing... old, but you can see upgrades are slowly being done. The balcony was perfect even in the winter. Staff at the desk was so nice and helpful.

The parking situation is weird it’s an outside company not linked to the hotel and if there is an issue there are no attendants and the hotel can’t/won’t help. They have signs and things advertised that were no longer available. The process for things were so unorganized and the place lacks professionalism

I didn’t like that we paid for overnight stay just to find out the price and resort fee didn’t include the waterpark check in is after 4 and check out is 11am water park opens 12pm so if we checked in after 4 and it closes at 7 doesn’t leave enough time to explore the actual park also everything was closed in the morning so paying full price for the tickets I think half price is fair but that’s just me nice hotel overall

I didn’t like that I had to upgrade to have a microwave in my room, that when I paid for the all you can eat seafood and went for dinner it was close before 8pm and the gentleman didn’t know how I was going to get my refund and the king sizes bed are to hard.

Not all rooms have been renovated. Stayed in an older New Orleans room and door swelled. We came back from show and had trouble getting it open and then couldn’t close it. Had to get a new room after midnight

The guy that works the check in desk , wasn’t friendly at all. The restaurant we ate at the food was terrible and expensive. I remember that restaurant was like a diner and was great in the past.

No towels or hair dryer already in the room the morning when I needed to shower and leave for convention. The elevators literally would open and close multiple times and we quickly learned which ones to not even attempt to use. Little choice for breakfast food within the property. The egg sandwich was great, however.
